7/28/2015 5:49pm Hey folks, I know this is more of a motocross forum, but I need a little advice on a banshee rebuild. I'm rebuilding my friends 00' banshee and I'm having the cylinders bored 25mm over which would make it 64.25mm. Should I get bigger carbs as well? Or what. He just joy rides, but wants more power.

4/26/2014 10:15am Thanks for all of the replies. I'm thinking he raced it and he just wanted to freshen up the internals. It does however sound weird that he replaced the crank; maybe he ran it hot and locked it up. I'm going to check it out and offer him 3700. I'll ask him about his repairs.

4/26/2014 7:50am He had the cylinder re-plated, new piston, rings, reeds, and crank. About 15-20 hours since the rebuild. Has a pro-circuit exhaust.

6/24/2013 10:40am I'm getting a new bike soon but don't know what to get, debating on a kx450f, crf450, or the new yz250 ts. I like to ride on the track, I'd say I'm a pretty decent rider. I don't race. But I still get competitive with myself and my lap times.

6/15/2013 10:31am And it'll start and idle like a champ. The throttle has so much response to it in neutral. But put it in first and it's hard to get power when I start off. I have to feather the Clutch a bit.
