That it's almost impossible for me to become bored or apathetic watching europeans ride outdoor motocross, but it's almost impossible for me NOT to become bored and apathetic watching Supercross. Youthstream - sign me up.

SX sucks for the most part, canned entertainment. The more that SX becomes the norm, the less important that MX will become, less MX tracks will exist and less MX bikes will be sold. Catering the sport to 10% of the people that ride or race is a surefire way to kill the sport. We will do worse in the future at the MXdN following that course. SX is a circus show. MX is motocross. But I have really enjoyed watching the MXGP races over the last few years a lot more than the Outdoor Nationals. The tracks are different, they are like real motocross and they get very rough. Our tracks have a lot of SX type jumps and they are all ripped deep with almost the same dirt composition. Herlings would easily win our Outdoors Series if he raced in the USA in my opinion.

We were at a east coast round when he was on 250s. We were at the hotel bar, Pourcell was there abd talking to a couple girls, after a few hours he got up and left with the two girls, we figured he was going to his room. When we all closed the bar at like 2 or 3 we were walking past the pool and noticed Pourcel was in the pool with two naked girls, good for him. When we were walking out for breakfast he was now in the sauna, with both girl and a few empty bottles...

i don't know bro, i think if Herlings came here for a full AMA outdoor series he would win more than half the races. if this race wasn't a wake-up call to ALL of the riders on the AMA circuit then i don't know what was.

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but our nationals are not the most recognized in the world, to the majority of the world the GPs are. They like supercross, but to the majority elsewhere its a side show, otherwise more than 2 riders every 4 years would come over. He didn't stay in the 250 to rack up wins, he stayed because ktm payed him a dumb amount of money to do so. The guy is the WORLD CHAMP, how much more prestigious can you get?

You need to start to realize America means the most only to Americans the rest of the world cares about the world.And MX and SX are really two completely different sports.Don't believe me how many on here have ever ridden a real SX track? I would say less than 5% and thats being very generous(cause I'm not talking local fairgrounds or any type of indoor arena cross)but 99% have ridden MX. Herlings is the FMOTP in MX right now and has the title of World Champion to prove it .He doesn't need to be the US champion any more than...
