6/13/2023 11:18pm Do you think that they are causing more crashes near the first turn? Seems like alot of riders are going down. The new starting gate seems to make the start more even for all of the riders causing more traffic. *Edited for the people who rode on the short bus.

It's not just the grates, it's everything to do with starting combined. This is how i look at at. The grates reduce separation between the riders, everyone is coming off the same surface with 100% traction. The start devices stop the front wheel coming up meaning riders can accelerate harder off the line. Riders have rpm lights so they know the exact revs to dump the clutch at Bikes have start maps to ensure the engine is at its optimum throughout the start procedure. Put all of these factors together and you have more riders getting to the first turn...

6/13/2023 6:03pm He got 38th in the 1st moto at Thunder Valley & then turned around and got 20th the 2nd moto. I'm trying to find out just what happened in moto 1 but his dad is not saying shit. I do know that he broke a rear brake pedal in qualifying & had to settle for the LCQ which he won.
