Sometime last year there was a post here about Arkansas House Bill 1465, which concerned the liability of dirtbike use on private property. Many other states are and have introduced similar language. I took this language and modified it slightly to extend the liability coverage to land owners, spectators and event promoters, as well as covering ATVs and SXS under the "off road vehicle" nomenclature. 1/16/2026 8:07am IMO if they want to be a "serious" contender for a national/worldwide spotlight, they should start taking care of the riders AFTER they finish racing as well. Look at what the player unions in other sports can accomplish.. the riders need to do the same. Do the big name factory rider contracts even include insurance for years beyond their retirement...

Matt, awesome video! I hope you can do these every week. Why the heck does the broadcast not use these GoPro videos??? I get that they outlawed the helmet cam, but I didn't realize they are still allowed to use chest mounts. I think this view is better than the helmet anyway. It's truly amazing to see this point of view, and we have really been missing out since these went away year ago.
