4/7/2023 5:04pm I'd get rid of the Suzuki needle. Additionally, the NECJ is a fairly lean needle in the hierarchy of Suzuki's needles. I tried a few different Suzuki needles in my sons 2018 YZ-250 and it ran like crap no matter what jet, clip and airscrew combo I tried. For some reason they work much better in the Austrian 300's and 250's.

It’s better, I’d say we’ve moved from a bog to a stumble. If I put the air screw at .25 open, it runs just about right. See above. I’m fatigued with it so I’ll probably pull the carb and go back to stock since that was tried and true and...

4/7/2023 3:09pm She won't be received well here. Well, in Memphis maybe. But we don't admit to that shithole being part of our state.

4/7/2023 3:07pm Everyone here talking about lifting light and doing 20+ reps. Has anyone seen what Chase Sexton posts on his IG? Doing 265lb+ front squats. Saw some other decent size weight. Strength is NOT a BAD thing on the bike. It’s the lack of endurance as well. If you can have strength AND endurance, you will be a beast. Like others say, try to incorporate both.

4/7/2023 3:07pm Yeah, that’s what I’m getting at but I’m awfully scattered. It’s an old trope that you’re either big OR built for endurance. I have absolutely found a way to do both, very well. It’s only one or the other if you accept that as your framework. I see where the limitations come in though. I run with some skinny twink...

4/7/2023 2:59pm Have you ever rode a Banshee or just tossing out opinion? My costumers 86+hp Stroked/bored/ported stretched banshee is lightswitch power, Even stock Banshees hit pretty hard. Drag Banshees are pretty popular around these parts and apples to oranges, comparing them to YZ 250 power is retarded

4/7/2023 2:45pm It is true. some people will tell you it’s the same and that glyphosate has no effect on you and so on.. they’re wrong. Fresh food is the best food.

4/7/2023 2:44pm I swear that's true. When the pandemic hit, myself and a handful of friends grouped together and turned a 1/3 acre field into a little garden/farm thing and so I started eating fresh veggies on the regular. I'm not really a nutritionist/dietician or anything but I swear the nutrient profile of the fresh stuff is higher (or I'm an absolute sucker for placebo).

4/7/2023 2:27pm Totally on the same page here. If you’re going to lift weights it’s best to actually tear them down and grow and focus your endurance work on things like rowing running skiErg and so on. I run a “bro split” year round and am currently prepping for a marathon. It’s not like I am trained to only ride 2 laps...

4/7/2023 2:20pm That's an old myth that fails to die. 20+ is way too many reps to be doing for a regular routine. All you're going to accomplish is fatiguing your muscles. There's quite a bit of scientific research that shows for most regular gym goers, somewhere between 6-12 reps is an optimal balance. Reps beyond that range had a diminishing return and in most of the sample population lead to stagnation in muscle hypertrophy.

4/7/2023 1:05pm Definitely. Usually when a company is getting ready to sell, they start to downsize payroll, usually by making one person do the job of three or four people. Then they give the numbers over to the potential buyer like, “look how efficient our employees are and how low are overhead is!” Then they sell, the new owners don’t know shit, and the employees are overworked and quit or get laid off, then they either sell the business again or file for bankruptcy.

4/7/2023 11:54am Yeah this takes some punch out of the transition and makes it smoother but if the 48 doesn’t do it I’ll save my tinkering for more consistent weather when I’ve got the time. Semester ends 4/27 I think so should have some time then. We shall see. Thank you for the help too
