cc-rider Started a new thread KX250 Rideology Tuning / Maps - Experimentation and Results
1 day ago Not a lot of info out there on different Rideology tunes and maps for the 2025 / 2026 KX 250. I’ve been experimenting with mine quite a bit so I thought I’d share what worked for me and I’d certainly like to hear about what success others have had. Once I started making changes to the tune, I was actually...

7/20/2026 12:06pm Has anyone been playing around with the Rideology app on these 2025 KX250s and tune/maps modifications? I tried to get a thread going over in the tech forum: https://www.vitalmx.com/forums/tech-helprace-shop/kx250-rideology-tunin… Maybe I put it in the wrong section. Or maybe nobody has been playing around with the rideology app?

7/18/2026 6:04pm I wasn’t paying attention to engine braking so I can’t give any feedback there. I do know that some of the MX based tunes focus on this and have opposite settings (like the Keefer tune). For what it’s worth…I tried the Keefer tune and it felt bad to me. Down on power and the top end seemed to sign off...

7/18/2026 5:43am Last mod I did to my bike was put a 51T rear sprocket on. With the Tusk filter, FMF full exhaust, 51T sprocket, and the tuning above…I was really blown away at what a different bike this was compared to stock. So much more power and really fun and playful. Anyway…thought I’d share in case this helps someone. I’d love...

1 day ago I then put on a full FMF titanium system. This changed the power characteristics of the bike. More top end pull, but took away a bit of the bottom end. So I went on a quest to modify the map to get the bottom end back…which I was successful in doing. Took a little more fuel and timing in a...
cc-rider Added a reply to KX327X fuel tank compatibility with previous years
7/13/2026 4:52am Good catch. I didn’t see that the 450FX got a new tank. It’s only 0.3 more gallons, but it’s something and it looks good.

7/12/2026 7:41pm Curious if anyone knows if the new 2.25 gallon tank coming on the KX327X will fit on the 2024-2026 KX models? Could be a nice win for off-road crowd if this larger 327 tank can replace the stock 1.6 gallon tank that came on the previous models…

3/21/2025 8:21am Thanks. I actually went with a custom 1988 graphic for my other one. I had a 1988 KX80 that I just loved as a kid. My son wanted the 1992 graphic

3/21/2025 6:18am Thought I’d share my experience trying to shoehorn a radiator fan onto the ‘25 KX250: I put Tusk fans on. I modified them a bit to make them fit better. Cut the 2 extended tabs off….then glued the base plate to the fan using JB Weld…then secured the fans to the radiator through the bolt holes that once existed to...

3/20/2025 6:43pm Not sure. But there is now a video of the installation process on YouTube. Its quite extensive. Gotta take half the bike apart.

3/19/2025 12:51pm I agree. I just bought a new helmet and couldn’t believe how bland they all look now. I ended up going with a LS2 Subverter Evo helmet just because it reminded me of the old school edgier helmets.

3/19/2025 4:58am Looks like twin air came out with a full new air filter system for the 2025 KX250. Billet cage, ECU relocation bracket. Has anyone tried this out yet? https://www.instagram.com/reel/DHYNu7nNszA/?igsh=b3VidmMycWswc3Jt

3/15/2025 3:55pm Had the crew at SKDA graphics make me some custom retro graphics for my new 2025 KX250. I had a 1988 KX80 when I was a kid and I loved that bike. So I had them do some ‘88 retro KX250 for me. I’m loving it!!! Turned out great. Got a 2024 blue seat as well from the 50th anniversary...

2/27/2025 4:57am I just picked up a pair of these for my son and I. This is an adventure of getting back into riding for me. So the mellower power delivery might actually be good for me. At least to start. But I’m also super curious about what people are/will be doing to uncork these. I’m going to pull my exhaust off...
