cb477 Started a new thread Tibial Pilon Fracture... recovery?

Ok, had a bad accident November of last year and severely broke my right ankle with a tibial pilon fracture (it shattered). Also had tibial plateau fracture (less severe but shattered) on left leg. Not here looking for sympathy, just curious if anyone else has had similar injury and how they have recovered/how well they can ride. My left knee...

cb477 Started a new thread KTM S3 head gap?

7/23/2020 2:32pm
I just put an S3 head on my 2020 300 XC and noticed a small gap between the outer rim of the head and cylinder. I am able to fit a .1 mm feeler gauge between them and it stops (I assume) at the o-ring. I called slavens because this really doesnt seem right to me, and they claim it...

I wish I could tell you that the nerve damage goes away but after 2yrs I’m still battling it. It doesn’t hinder me in any way but it’s always there.

Also, I feel your pain. My boy was only 10 months old when this happened. And not only did I break both legs, I also broke my left wrist. So I had one functioning limb for 3 months. It was tough, but just stay positive. It’s easy to fall into depression during rough injuries and something I’ve dealt with. Hope...

What’s up man. Sorry to hear about that. It sucks. I made this post obviously 5 months ago but I’ve definitely gotten better. My breaks happened in November 2018 and considering I broke both tibs (right ankle, left knee) it made it that much harder to get better. They both shattered, but the ankle is way worse. Doc said there...

Do you think clip position or different needle would fix it since its from 1/4 to 1/2? Or should I just go straight to bigger main jet?

Yep I ran the exact same jetting and and had the same issue. I went to the 4th clip and it stopped my detonation but then my bottom was too rich again. I’m going to try 490 main and back to 3rd clip position next time I ride. I really would like to find a needle with a steeper taper because I believe that is the issue. But maybe the 490 main will solve it.

I never really thought about it before... but out of all the bikes I've had, and all of them being sprung and valved by the same suspension guy every time, the bike I bought that had X-trig Rocs was the absolute best feeling bike by a long shot. I wonder if the clamps made that much of a difference or...

Which track did you go? I have this setup on my 19 . only small diff is 50:1 (96 non ethanol, slightly oxygenated) and PV is 1.5 out Disclaimer : C minus rider! I rode last week end when temps were finally cooling off and the bike ran great, best ever since I had it. Going tomorrow to Bostwick Mx Creek, temps cooling a bit more. I'll report back

I rode NFMX (Hilliard). I saw that bostwick was open, I only live about 40 minutes from there. But my ankle is pretty tore up after today... still recovering from a injury. I’m a B rider, but at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle that wouldn’t make a difference. If I’m not wrong, detonation is caused from a lean condition?
