He knew it was a banned substance. Anyone that watches professional sports, as he has discussed before in interviews (especially R. Sherman), knows it is banned. Also, if he took a prescription and noticed a difference, one would surely be concerned with its approval. Signing the papers quickly isn't an excuse.

I think the only thing this letter does is show a level of ignorance in the AMA. 1) The letter should've been sent to WADA since they've got the most control of the penalty 2) The time taken for conclusion is nothing new, it has taken months in other cases also From what JT said, punishment was necessary and a...

Just curious, is this generally the cheapest the price gets? I've never looked at the price before and am not sure if they do a sale right before the series. If anyone that has purchased the pass before could chime in, it'd be appreciated.

Psychologically, his view is based solely on money. He feels that anyone with such high income should be ecstatic and in love with their career. He's said many times, if I could retire at his age with his income... Well, he had every opportunity to develop the same wealth and luxury of retiring early like RV, maybe not by moto...

Bummer, you didn't have your parents support you! You weren't able to be the support system of your family as an adolescent, and then you were forced to behave like a normal child?! Type of people like you just don't understand that these guys were, essentially, the breadwinners of the family at age 12. If they don't win, they let...

If you think privateers put in the same work and have the same discipline that the top rider does, you must be new to the sport. Privateers also don't get flooded by people that think they're entitled to tell them how they should act and what they can/cannot enjoy. I definitely see the similarities though.

There would be no HIPPA violation because there wouldn't be a confidential agreement with a private, hired nurse with mx sports or whoever.

Exactly, so testing his B sample is for hoping nothing will show up in it. If you admit there were amphetamines, then why request another test? Looks like they're looking for all forms of an out to me. RX said he was going to get his B sample tested.

If I knew I was going to have my ducks aligned and had the necessary actions to get approval, then I probably wouldn't have my B sample tested. You know, since I don't have anything to hide, why would I want to rely on a B sample test?

Not really saying he can't take his meds if he goes through the process that has been established for getting approval. That's just how the rules were made and he is mature enough to have to abide by them. If he gets a tue, good for him. No one should be angry if he is allowed to take adderrall by...

As for the TUE, the committee just looks at the doctor, and whatever goes along with the case. FALSE Therapeutic Use Exemption Committees (TUECs) TUECs shall be constituted and act in accordance with the following guidelines: 6.1 TUECs should include at least three (3) physicians with experience in the care and treatment of Athletes and a sound knowledge of clinical...

Nerd, you keep saying it is as easy a filing a TUE, which it isn't. The Committee actually researches the necessity of the drug. A script is easy enough to get so WADA look's into the athlete's need, with no influence on previous rulings. The rules are crystal clear and it's difficult to comprehend where you're getting lost. He didn't...

But it is actually more than filling out the paperwork. 1) there are no records of any other athletes with a TUE for Adderrall 2) the Committee decides the ruling based on each individual athlete, so other approvals have no impact on his request (it's a check and balance for necessity and safety) 3) he may in fact have been...

The issue isn't just that he didn't file paperwork, which is what it seems most people assume. Filing out a form and providing a script from a doctor does not earn the athlete a TUE, A committee of three or more sports physicians investigate if the medication is truly necessary and safe for the athlete. This is a necessary control...

Definitely not. A) what's the limit? receive a second concussion and earn the right to take Adderral? Cool if your brain has had enough damage to lose focusing abilities, then you shouldn't continue racing. Covering the effects of concussions in order to continue competing is laughable.
