As Chad Reed said no chance. Unless she lit the world on fire during her AX run I can't seeing her having any success with the boys. I could see her making the night show, but I can't see her making a main.

From what I have seen at x games n wmxgp megan Rutledge would have more of a shot,at least she has some experience doing sx her in Australia with the boys

Vicki is rad, a great rider, and yes...she's faster and has waaaay better style than you. It won't be easy, but SX isn't easy for anyone. I'm rooting for her.

Obviously she's faster then most of us, that's a given. But we're comparing her to the professional SX class, not the amateurs. If she was getting routinely lapped in AX how is that supposed to translate to SX? I don't see it happening.

exactly! I don't know why people even bring that up. I know kids on 80's that would smoke a lot of people, they ain't going pro either! I don't see her making night show at all. I will be upset if they just let her race a heat & put out someone who actually qualified. And lets be honest, the general public doesn't care about a girl MX rider unless she's hot. Vik is not hot. She's made it to the pro level on her own merit. Maybe she's not the second coming of James Stewart, but that doesn't matter. Just like Stew, who helped break down some barriers for minorities in MX (and motorsports/ action sports in general), the simple fact the Vicki has legitimately made her way through the ranks to get to a point where a WOMAN can be on the entry list for a professional Supercross race is groundbreaking.

If she does well, then it's just a bonus. She's already accomplished what many women before her have tried and failed at and what most fans said would never happen. Female participation in motorsports on a professional level (when they're competing against men) is extremely rare. Rather than bashing and naysaying, how about showing a little support for someone who is doing something that has never been done? I'll be cheering her on when Arlington comes around.

I'm not saying she shouldn't try. But I'm almost being realistic in saying I don't think she will be successful. I don't care about breaking down minority barriers, I care about racing. All this attention that she is getting isn't because of her skill, it's because of her gender. If she was a male with her speed and skill level she would just be another no-name privateer trying to make it. That said she may prove me wrong, and if she does I'll be the first to say I was wrong. Arlington will definitely be interesting that's for sure.

Give the "chicks" their own class at SX,................ they did it outdoors and see what a success it was.

I still would rather watch the girls at SX then have to sit thru the KTM peewee thing. Sick

I think what she's doing is awesome and takes some guts. I really hope she qualifies for the night show, but I seriously don't see that happening. And yes, she's way faster than me (since I know that statement is coming). Good luck, Vicki!

Pretty sure she was at least born with a vagina. It wasn't man-made like that other IT's hole. Sx is manmade though

Absolutely no chance. She entered in one of the arenacross races that was in the area and I saw her get like no higher than fifth in both of her races. If she can't even win against my local guys how is she going to make it at the top level?

I'm not bagging on her or nay saying, like everyone I am being realistic. Cool, it's ground breaking, no one besides hard core moto fans will even know she's there, especially when she fails to qualify.
