Back in the early 1970's, I recall the "Flyin Hawaiian" John DeSoto opened up a cycle accessory shop, I can't recall the name or location, except that I believe it was somewhere in Orange County. I remember going there and meeting John and his wife Patty, they were just super nice people. I even bought a pair of those blue...

1971 Yamaha AT-1 I think this might be Lyons in 1972. Wow, cool boots, huh? and the Precision Cycle sweatshirt... now that's old school. lol

Saddleback... I loved that track. Raced CMC there just about every other weekend between 1973-75... and when I wasn't there, it would be down in Carslbad. Those were great times. On my 125 Penton at Saddleback around 1973

Oh yeah, those sure were great times. I've been away from the sport since the late 1970's, and just recently got into watching the SX series the past few years...
