Back in the early 1970's, I recall the "Flyin Hawaiian" John DeSoto opened up a cycle accessory shop, I can't recall the name or location, except that I believe it was somewhere in Orange County. I remember going there and meeting John and his wife Patty, they were just super nice people. I even bought a pair of those blue w/yellow stripe Torsten Hallman leathers from him.
