3/16/2022 10:35am I think what they mean is that they cut 20% of the throttle rotation for same throttle actuation. Like you only turn throttle 80% of what you currently do to achieve 100% throttle. I could be totally off-base though.

3/16/2022 10:02am Sure you are. I don’t think a guy who does that for a living would shit all over someone like you try.

3/16/2022 9:59am I would be happy to answer any and all of your questions. Yes there has been some banter. But like I said, I didn’t start the thread or even know about it until I googled ZRT to see where it was popping up. So I followed. What ensued was a Luke warm reception which is fine. But people started making jokes about 500 dollar throttles bla bla bla. A couple stuck up for the idea and explained the theory and engineering behind it. And some just straight up insulted it. I reserve the right to have an opinion on that...

3/16/2022 9:54am It has amazed me that so many "business" owners have felt the need to come on the site and start actively bashing a somewhat large potential customer base in response to what they feel is a lukewarm response to their service or product. Just in the not so distant past, we've had that MXM dude hawking 80's Retro jerseys (with non-licensed logos) that went Phase 4 meltdown when every Vital member didnt buy 6 or 7 each, then he comes back a year later under a different name and repeats the entire routine again before getting shit-canned a second time...

3/16/2022 9:48am Hey 902moto First .... I'm legitimately interested in purchasing your product for my 2021 Yamaha YZ 250F. I'm "On the fence" right now so here's my questions. 1) Have updates been made since this thread was started in 2020 where cutting my handlebars is still required? (I just spent top dollar on my first Fast Flexx bars and LOVE them...

3/16/2022 8:54am Actually, what I’m offering is to help with new product development if I can by providing a physical test piece that can be used for fitment checks and be produced much more quickly and cost effectively than a CNC’d prototype if its being subed out. Never hurts to make connections with people who have a drive to make things happen rather than just sit online and jump from thread to thread providing nothing of substance and continually trolling. . .

3/16/2022 8:52am How can you give a fair review if you just installed it? When they are new and clean they all feel great, even the stock ones. And no, this is not the only bearing tube you can use with bark busters. I have a pro taper one with bark busters. But to my knowledge this is the only one with bearings on both ends. Why is this important? Because there needs to be at least two points of contact between the tube and the bars. That’s why even the ones with one bearing at the outer end use a Teflon...

3/16/2022 8:47am Depends on your perspective, maybe it looks like useless junk to you but to me it looks like lessons learned. Hey, maybe those designs didn’t work out, but does that mean they should just pack up and quit? Let me ask you this, the company you work for was paid to develop the mold, correct? If nothing else, your place of business was at least in some way supported by their ambition, so would you rather they just never tried in the first place? Not every product is going to be a success, that’s just the free market, but we...

3/16/2022 8:44am Ok, here's a little story about those knock off aluminium parts. I used to be a tight wad that bought cheap stuff like Tusk, and got me a bearing type aluminum throttle tube (like the pro-taper ones) that was made by a company similar to Tusk. The problem with crap like that (other than the subpar manufacturing process itself), is that it's reverse engineered by someone that probably doesn't have a fucking clue of what they are copying or what its function is. They just copy it. As close as they can. Case in point, in the aforementioned throttle tube...

3/16/2022 8:38am This thread, wow. I’m going to try to keep this under control but I’m not optimistic. Some of you will never amount to jack shit and it shows, maybe it’s not the most incredible piece in the world but I can tell you that a HUGE amount of thought, time, and money went into developing this into what it is today. Not feeling it’s necessary is one thing, but to try to make the owner/designer seem like and idiot is just so far out of whack I can’t even tell you. Let’s take just the promotional video for example that...

3/16/2022 8:33am I can personally tell you that I bought and paid for two of these throttles myself. I am in no way endorsed by ZRTHROTTLE. . . I have built many local Championship winning bikes. I have built bikes for Pro racers who race nationals and supercross. Built bikes for average joe weekend warriors. For pit bike riders. For vet riders. For womens class racers. All sorts of different people. I’ve installed well over 50 of these throttles on my customers bikes. And we all come to the same conclusion after the dust settles. . . It’s hard to ride a...

3/16/2022 8:28am Haha, relax guy. I actually wasint talking shit. I was being truthful. It’s definitely different if your not use to it. So maybe I should put a disclaimer on it. “Not for pussies”. But you make it sound like getting use to it takes a month. Which is not the case because you have gotten use to it now and were ready to order another until I “talked shit”. 😂 Whatever man. Send my shirt back if you hate it so much.

3/16/2022 8:22am So, after reading what is one of the best thread-comedies I've seen in here since the D-Davis days...I did my homework: There are some VERY fast folks that run it on factory bikes. There are different diameters available, too (Nice). As to the price: At my company. We machine a lot of molds and parts. We have milling machines, Maker-Bots & SolidWorks. We pay an engineer A LOT of money to make sure all of it does what it's suppose to do and he -also- makes sure our machined parts turn out right. With that said and seeing the complexity...

3/16/2022 8:12am Thanks Jeff, So I take it you could here my accent? LOL I appreciate your comments. If I said that, I would get chastised for it. Your absolutely right. It took an insane amount of work to get this project where it is today. People do not understand what goes into a project like this. From conception all the way to a nicely packaged brand that works flawlessly. Sometimes people I talk to ask me about how hard it is to start from scratch. Well the idea is the easy part. We all have had ideas about something we could...

3/16/2022 8:09am This is fucked up. Who cares who posted it? Who cares the guy that owns the company chimes in with a positive review? Here we have a dude that is psyched to shout out his buddy. Fuck I wish I had more people jumping on vital talking about my four brands with positive review. Then we have Tom the most Massachusetts guy ever (his YouTube vids about the throttle are music to the ears for a rube like me) who literally engineered a product in his garage that’s never been done before, something that took insane amounts of math, obsessing...

Brent Utley Added a comment about feature Faster, Lighter, and Longer Motos than a 450? First Look - STARK FUTURE VARG Electric MX Bike
12/14/2021 11:56am This bike seems very interesting. I also like the fact it's comparable to the new Yamaha YZ 250F as far as ergonomics. I'm looking forward to reading Vital's real world bike test this spring. I'm hoping this bike will be the perfect solution to me being able to build a track on my land without disturbing / pissing off my neighbors due to noise .... if sales are good I hope they develop an 85 cc kids bike equivalent quickly because that could be a BIG market.
