Saving one pound from the tires would help that guy more than losing one pound from his gut.

Lighter is better. Those of you who ever raced a slow bike, like I have, would know. The weight of your wheel assembly matters. It matters to acceleration, braking, and suspension action. That's why mountain bike racers use carbon wheels and tubeless setups, why the MX race teams shave grams off their hubs, spokes and bolts when they can, and why factory guys always seem to get holeshots. It's not always the most powerful bike that wins a drag race; it's usually the bike with the best net power to weight ratio.

My honest opinion on the MX33 is that it hooks up great while it's new, but wears a lot faster than the tires in the same range. I don't have the money to change tires every couple races and I appreciate well made tires that can last and provide solid traction before they fall apart. So far I have really taken to the Maxxis Maxxcross SI for what I ride, I can't kill the thing and it hooks up awesome. I would like to try the new MX-ST, but might just go back to the SI again since it has...

Taco Moto sent me an email back in like March or April saying there were new maps coming to the Honda bikes for the TACO MOTO SX1 customers… never have heard anything else out of him since then. He also tried to tell me that they were releasing their own custom ground camshaft for all of the enduro bikes in July.. and they haven’t done that either. I don’t understand the appeal of lying to people. It’s just not a good look. Sorry you’re having issues with this company too. They’ve been terrible to deal with.

Add me to the list of people duped by Taco Moto... Ordered the full kit with the LED switch and the ProMoto cap and ultra silencer tip for my 2020 FE 350... Installed it all, and it runs amazingly exactly like a stock bike. In fact, on the Hot map, with the ultra silent tip removed (so basically as loud as it gets) then i get maybe a TINY performance increase. With the tip on, or in the enduro map, its noticeably weaker and more difficult to ride. I usually ride tight woods in 2nd and 3rd... usually putt around...

No I gave up on the ECU 2 years ago, shortly after I got it, after waiting 6 months I think. I live in Colorado so altitude changes are normal, 4500-14,000 feet can be experienced in 60 miles. And the barometric sensor is one of the main reason I got the GET. The OEM KTM ECU adjusts for barometric pressure, but only once when the engine starts, it does not taken continuous readings and change, which is fine if you stop and start the engine every 2000 feet or so. I installed it on a brand new 2022 KTM 500...

I have a Tacomoto GET as well. I got it in 2022. The Tacomoto maps are both copies of the factory default flat". I asked them why this was the case, and Mike claimed now they were special tacomoto maps that had hours of testing, dynos, etc. BS, they are both the same, all they did was change the file names. I also can not get my bike to start over 12k feet, I asked about this and if they tested at altitude as well, since they were marketing them for snow bikes. I got some lame response that might...

Yeah, when I had issues with mine, I texted Mike from taco Moto just to get some pre fabricated lame text from him at 3 am about how he was out in the middle of the dunes ripping gears or some bullshit. lol customer service is very poor. Sent my ECU back to them and they told me there was nothing wrong but they remapped it and I haven’t had it thrown the fuel injection malfunction light anymore since. If you have access to a knock sensor, that would come in handy for tuning as well. Let me know what...
