I completely agree with you. I would say privateers probably ride with injuries more often than not because they don’t have the cushion under them to fall back on like the factory riders have. I am shocked it didn’t happen sooner though at the level of riding that he is doing every weekend, plus training. I would say training is just as strenuous as the actual motos.

I think it’s up to the team that they ride for. They try to do all they can to protect and preserve the health of their best riders. They don’t like taking chances.

I've heard the same. The rear shock is actually travel limited due to the massive stock exhaust. If you get an aftermarket exhaust AHM will remove the internal spacer so you get full travel.

Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve got about 5k miles on her now and I’m loving it. I did 2 longer adv rides about 1000miles each ride, one camping off the bike, and the other just motel rooms. I had no issues to report with the bike it worked great. I was riding with buddies on Tenere’s and 890’s and all the comments were I wish I were on a smaller bike.
