My guess is that with the new Arctic Cat ownership a deal with Cat to have them produce the Rmax etc... will go down now that Textron is gone. Arctic Cat was contract building Yamaha sleds in Thief River Falls until Yamaha pulled the plug completely (because Textron needed to stick to military sales and had no business sense for...

Might want to find a better analogy, because right now both F1 and MotoGP are on summer break for an entire month. If a Karting World Amatuer program was run by Liberty Media you can be darn sure it would be taking place right now, and you would be paying to watch it just the same.

Just throwing one small part of the fallacy of wind energy out there... A medium sized wind generator field uses more concrete than the entire annual production of the cement plant that I work at can produce to support said concrete. That windmill field requires more than 350,000 tons of cement, 2,200MW of electrical power (ours is hydroelectric), 70,000 tons...

Beta480RX Added a reply to Do frames “wear out” ?

Yes. When I raced an XR650R regularly (primarily desert with some moto just because it was my only bike at the time) I would change out the aluminum frame every other year. The lower frame rails would spread apart. Have seen lots and lots of frame stretch in older Japanese steel frames. Pull a motor of an older bike and...
