About Me
I'm an older trail rider. Before bikes got more specialized, I used to ride MX bikes in the woods. I ride a Honda 2013 CRF250X enduro. I recently did some epic trail riding in Utah around Strawberry Reservoir, on Stansbury Island, off of Mirror Lake Highway, and down in Moab at Slickrock and on the White Rim Trail! I've also ridden the Outlaw Trails and the Hatfield/McCoy trails.

I have 2 pairs of the pre-2004 Tech 8s with the stitched soles and replaceable sole insert. Mine say "Made in Italy." The new ones have molded soles which I don't like. I've kept the leather and plastic conditioned on my boots and they are still in great shape. The soles are only scratched. I going to buy a pair...

I look at new boots several times a year, and would love to have a reason to get new ones. I have older Astars Tech 8s that fit great and are holding up well. They show very little signs of wear despite being over 10 years old! Why get what you don't need.

Benski Started a new thread Honda CRF250X: Suggest the best upgrade/modification for increased horsepower?

I own a 2013 Honda CRF250X. I really like the bike for the steep, technical trail riding I do. I've gotten used to the power of the bike, and want to know if there is a parts upgrade or modification I can perform to increase the horsepower. Is the upgrade/modification worth the price? Please offer some tried suggestions.
