It’s HUGE!! 40 plus yrs in the game says so. The positive affects on rear suspension & braking are HUGE!!! The system’s a plus for any bike!! Modern or otherwise. Yet, ALL the Manufacturers did away with em!! Cost? Yes. Foolish Decision? ...HONESTLY, YES.

1/27/2021 2:55pm Motocross Action magazine made the (very dubious) claim in 1986 when testing the kx125 that “...if you push down on the rear suspension while applying the rear brake, the shock won’t rebound back to full extension. 1/27/2021 2:45pm Reason why I asked the question is that I was looking thru old 1986 magazines and Yamaha was using rear disc brakes on Glovers works yz but it had the floating setup with the torque arm connecting the floating caliper mount to the frame and it made me curious. Surely seems like it would help the rear suspension a lot...

So you're saying that if people have a certain level of intelligence, they don't like to listen to a British accent that's actually Australian? So conversely someone with less intelligence can enjoy a British accent that's actually Australian.. Interesting!

Had 97 Cr250 loved the bike sold it got a 99. Wish I had the 97 Cr250 back. Looking for another one to rebuild. Put it next to this Beauty.

1/8/2021 9:07pm Make sure the main power valve flapper is smooth and polish the cylinder where the flapper valve rides in the cylinder . The 97 has a two piece flapper while the 96 had a one piece. I’d say that a good upgrade would be to replace the 97 with the 96 flapper because the dyno showed that the “progressive” action...

You occasionally see nonsense hate just for the sake of being a dick come from adults as well, and those people are mentally insane. I’ve noticed another big thing about the adult haters as well but I’m not going to get political lol.

1/8/2021 5:51pm Bervoets is a favorite of mine snd I wish he would’ve won instead of having numerous second places. One year after the USGP, Jeff Stanton made the comment “Man, Bervoets is FAST. That guy is legit!”🙂 Bervoets always seemed likable and a gentleman in interviews as well. Good dude and great career👍

1/8/2021 5:44pm No joke if I were a millionaire I’d give $10,000 for a nice 86 RM250 because that was my first big bike and holds a ton of precious and good memories. Maybe the buyer feels the same about xr80s🤷♂️
