Vince didn’t do anything wrong, that is racing.

This is absolute stupidity gone to seed.

I fail to see how Friese deserves any blame for that first turn crash. He does a lot of boneheaded things but this surely is not a good example of that.

Similar incident happened last year with Austin Forkner going down on the start and everyone here blamed him for not letting off the throttle/slowing down. Too much bias here with certain riders.

Because when you’re the first to the turn, you have to turn first. Hunter should have been thinking “Well, this douche bag is ahead of me, I should probably give him a few inches”.

As much As I don't like Friese that was entirely on Hunter. Hunter could have backed off a tad or he could have done what Friese did...start turning left with Friese but that would have caused even more carnage. Hunter's start in the LCQ was piss poor to say the least. He is 25 markers down but it's only round 1. He learnt something tonight and it won't happen again.

PRO TIP: when you are a half a bike length ahead you get to do whatever you want and everyone else behind you has to figure it out. It's called getting a "holeshot" Just ask anyone who has ever raced against Emig.

Sexton got up and qualified in this same heat. Hunter needs that same kind of urgency. Certainly it seemed like he was cruising around in the LCQ. That was the time to take risks.

Exactly this. Every rider in the field that had Vince’s start would have done that exact same thing. Hunter held it on too long and that’s what happens.

Ahh it’s pretty simple.. (again, I am not at all a friese fan) if friese can come from an outside gate (and he wasn’t way out there) and make the inside of the first turn in first place then it’s on the other riders that can’t get there or stop in time.. when you are in front and can control the first turn, you do it every single time.. he doesn’t have rear view mirrors, nor does he need to care about who is behind him and what is happening there.

This was halfway down the start straight. If hunter can’t see this, he’s either completely blind, or staring at his front number plate

If you don't think Friese is going to dive in when he is ahead of you to get the holeshot, you are dreaming. Legit move, just a racing incident.

Fucking Hunter cost Vince the holeshot. They need to ban hunter,he's to damn dangerous.

This is 100% on Hunter over cooking it into the first turn.

Hunter screwed that up. Then he screwed up his LCQ start. Its on him that he didnt qualify. No excuses.
