1993 Doug Henry tribute bike - raffled to support Road 2 Recovery 1
General Info
Parts
This bike was rebuilt over the winter and recently raffled off to support the Road 2 recovery. To say that this bike is one of a kind would be an understatement. The bike was gifted to me and I didn't have a plan for it at first. I knew that I wanted to pay it forward and help others. I wanted to do a replica build so I just needed to sort out the details. Growing up in New England one rider came to mind, Doug Henry, a local New England legend. I reached out to Doug and asked if it was okay and if he had any charities in mind. Doug thought it was a great idea and recommended the Road 2 recovery.
The bike was in really rough shape and needed almost everything. I quickly started to gather parts and began the restoration. Fast forward 6 months and here we are with a fully restored 93 Doug Henry tribute bike. There are some notable parts that may catch your eye, lots of HRC replica parts. The fork guards sliders, frame guards, skid plate with ti hardware, and engine covers. OEM parts were used wherever possible, and if the parts weren’t available I designed and made them for the bike.
I want to thank everyone that helped contribute to the build, Lynks Racing, Aluminart Anodizing, Throttle Jockey, Specbolt, Mazer Performance, Hazen Towne, Bench Racer Official, Will Smith, Phil Geldern, Unbounded MX
