I just got a new Dunlop 110/80/19 rear tire delivered that I won at a banquet. I usually run a 110/90 on the 450 and haven't ever seen or used a 110/80. Will this work or will it be too low of a side wall for a 450? I hear some guys run this tire on 250F's now. Has anyone used one on a 450?

It will alter your gearing. Just an FYI.

The side wall is 10mm shorter......you will never notice the difference.

Wouldnt it actually be 5mm on both sides of the diameter thus making it 10mm total?Whistling

I doubt he'd notice.

It's simple math. 110 X 80 = 88mm sidewall. A 110 X 90 = 99mm. It would be like running 11mm more sag (height wise not spring/suspension wise) so I think he would notice it in the handling. It's really a 250f tire as the shorter sidwall flattens out the profile on the wider 450 rim.

If he has to come onto a forum to ask a question like that, I truly doubt that he'll notice the difference.
