He must have dropped his price tag significantly especially if testing for a lower budget team like Valli. However, I know it's only day 2 of testing (that we know of), but so far, both are Pro Circuit backed teams. Maybe Mitch is flipping a chunk of the bill?

I'd like to see him end up on an orange bike on a 350.

I wouldn't. I want to see what potential he really has, not see him struggle like everyone else that has shifted orange. Aside from Cairoli, nobody else has impressed me with those bikes.

Dunno what bike is best for him. Factory backed KTM vs PC backed satellite team? In GP KTM is king, in the US? So far CP hasn't tested KTM (for outdoors) but if he does he for sure knows better than the rest of us what's best for him...

I'm glad Vali and Geico has at least given him an offer?

I don't care for Honda that much as a company, but I really think he would do well on a red bike for some reason. Maybe just because JMB did? Ha.

I'd like to see him on Orange as well. I don't think he will struggle as much as the others. I think him and DeCoster would get along.

Even so, I don't understand why he doesn't just stay on a Kawi. He's used to them and has probably ridden them the longest, plus I'm just used to seeing him on one.

I don't think that's possible? They haven't given him an offer yet, and he dislikes them for not answering to his before the SX season started. I think he said that he was counting on them.

Those look kind of different for fox boots, maybe they are some new style fox because it looks like they are hinged at the ankle, ive never seen hinged fox boots before

I don't understand why JGR doesn't pick him up. He is close to their home base. They have the funds. They want to be a title contender. Makes sense to me but that doesn't say much. Milsaps is doing what everyone expected of him. Brayton is injured. I think it puts them where they want to be!

Ok, where did you read or hear that? Not saying you are wrong, just that it wasn't in the air around here when he tested for them?

I though it was more Roger saying they actually could pay him what he asked for but they didn't think he would boost sales for KTM in the US since they felt an American guy like Short with maybe less performance but more appealing persona (for yanks) would be better fitted for the job. Winning is not always the best tactic (look at Honda pics post RC) seems?

No one on a Yamaha wins (J/K) Tongue

It looks like the Kawi's and Suzuki's are full. Maybe he's testing the GEICO Honda to get an idea what the factory Honda is like. I'm sure he doesn't want to be a fill in rider, though.

Two guys I know at KTM told me. They took a 450 & 350 for him to test in Florida quite some time ago.

I know Roger said that but I thought it was more a generalization regarding employing too many non americans rather than specifically regarding Pourcel ?

I'm more concerned about the guy trying to tickle his pickle.Sick

I like the idea of him and Honda better. It just looks better.

I've got nothing against Yamaha or Valli, but CP would be wise to go with Geico since they have a much stronger, well established team with close ties to both PC and Factory Honda.
