A buddy of mine is leaning toward buying a Service Honda CR500AF, does anyone know if they ever take one out to a track for potential customers for a test ride?

I've seen AJ offer on here to let people ride his if they are at the same track on a weekend. I don't think they make special trips for test rides though.

I think youhave to sign a waiver that you won't sue them when you are disappointed with every other bike you ride after the 500AF.

I tried one out and I was disapointed. I could go faster on my 250 smoker.

It's the fun factor not the speed. Just like riding a 125. Of course you can go faster on something else but it's just not as fun. We all ride for different reasons.

Yes, they do. Just pick up the phone and call them and they'll give you details on how it might happen.

Ain't that the truth.

I used to ride in the search of speed and kept finding the ground. Now I ride preemptively and stick to mostly riding on the ground, thus I no longer require speed's help in finding it.

hell just buy it, you can ride it for like 2-3 years and sell it for 500 less then retail. Smile

here they don't allow them in pro. only amatuer. so smokers won't be seen in the pro series unless they are about 1/2 the cc's.
