For 2nd on the all times wins for MX/SX

RC 150
MC 89
JS 86

And he's only 25. Quite a career for James.

Just an observation.

Looks like your guy has a great chance for this title, too. What do you think? I can see James and Chad going 1, 2 respectively for these last two races. Tough for us CR fans. I thinks Reed will out race the Ryans, but if Stewart gets decent starts and stays up, he'll be a little too fast for Chad, or anyone else. Should be fun though.

James would win a lot more races if he slowed down once he got in the lead.

I will never understand why he doesn't back off a little when he has a half a lap lead.

Great career for sure. Still no comparison to Ricky though...

Yes nowhere near RC but RC's not the topic. Didn't MC retire at age 33 or 34?

are those overall mx wins, or are moto wins counted in there too?

I think he did that this weekend. He got up to an 8 second lead & it pretty much stayed there for the whole race.

He seemed to be trying to ride slower earlier in the year too. That didn't work out too well, unless everyone else is just as fast as him.Whistling

RC retired from full time racing when he was 26 I believe, but raced a part time SX schedule in 2007 at 27. Basically he has won 60 plus more races in about the same amount of time as Stewie.

I still dont think we can compare the OVERALL wins between the three since RC ALWAYS raced and focused on the outdoors, while MC and Stew focused their time on SX only racing. If Stewie stayed as healthy as RC and MC and raced outdoors, I think we would be asking "is James going to surpass RC's 150 wins this year ?"

I will never second guess how Ricky walked out on top the way he did, but I always wonder how far he could have taken it if he raced until let's say 30...

Time on the track in races raced in and time in years are two completely different things. Like you eluded to in your post a little. If he one day surpasses him age will never matter to me. Ricky chose to leave when he did.

It must suck knowing he will never get MC's SX record.

If you look at individual lap times for the whole race JS7's lap times look like perfect race management. Five- six laps of hammering out fast laps to get the lead. Two-three laps backed down just a little, then 6 ultra consistent (on a incredibly tough track) fast laps to put everyone away. Then five laps in total " just get to the checkered on two wheels mode.." At the flag he was only 2.6 seconds ahead of Windham. Looks like JS has figured out that a W is a W, whether 2 or 50 sec ahead.

Individual lap times from Seattle

That link above is to the Individual lap time sheet.

He needs 31 to break the record I believe.

That's a shitload at this point in his career. He would need 5 more years of the year he is having this year.
