Hey guys,
I'd like to write something up about the twitter/VitalMX fiasco from today.
First of all, I want to tell you guys that I am a fan of Trey and I am bummed out for him that he won't be part of the last 3 races and use the chance he had to maybe win this thing. I know how it feels to get hurt when you are in the hunt of a championship, leading the SX Championship in 02 and getting hurt (For the younger crowd on here). I actually talked to him in St Louis during track walk and told him it was not bad to be where he was in the standing with less pressure than the Ryans or Chad. He just had to do what he did in Dallas, go for the win each week without counting points.
As far as the my comment on twitter, it was of poor taste, like Trey's mom said, and bad french humor but I never intended to be disrespectful about Trey and his injury.
Religion has been part of podium speeches a lot lately, more than ever and even from riders you wouldn't think in a million years it'll be coming out of their mouths. I respect it! Sometimes I would love to hear riders on the podium thanking the truck driver for driving 2500 miles in a week… In our sport (any?), I believe in hard work, dedication, good entourage, good team, good equipment and making good decisions at the right time. All of that, in my eyes, help Trey (or Ryan Dungey for that matter) win races and titles.
We all have an opinion about anything and arguments could go forever but once again, I never meant to disrespect Trey or anyone/anything for that matter.
I am a fan of the riders because I know what they go thru and a huge fan of our sport. It's a great sport to be involved in, it gave me a beautiful wife and kids and everything else!
Thanks for reading

Thanking support people is important, but nobody other than the rider faces the significant physical risk to be there.
DV, you had it back in the day, you might not have 72 supercross wins but on many nights and days you beat the best and I'm glad I was here to watch.
Dr. Trey, you have done everything right and it's only a matter of time till you get that #1 plate! You were awesome to watch back on 60's and 85's, and now on big bikes is so baddass to see that you made it! Rock on brother!
Younger Cop: The rug was in the car?
The Dude: No. It was here.
Younger Cop: [eager] Oh, separate incidents.
Maude Lebowski: [on answering machine] Jeffrey, this is Maude Lebowski. I need to see you. I'm the one who took your rug.
Younger Cop: Well. I guess we can close the file on that one.
