.....is going to happen.

DC mentioned on DMXS last night that a southeast race would definitely be on the 2012 schedule. No exact details, but needless to say that we're pretty excited down here in these parts.

If I remember correctly, DC mentioned that it'll must likely be one of the Pennsylvania rounds, Steel City or High Point

i agree..monster mountain would be bad a$$..i raced the hell out of that track in the motocross madness 2 days... 1000's of laps....never been there in person tough...

anywhere closer than the 9 hrs it takes me to get to freestone and sorry Fla guys not Gatorback as it's been there and I've been there. Let's do somewhere new and it seems like I heard that it's gonna be another Freestone deal where there will be a national spot before there is a national track...

DC has been working on this and had an "Almost" deal that would've shocked folks...@ an unbelieve-able, for a National, facitility...

Everyone from Tracks, Promoters and even "Off-Shore" interests has seemed to "get in the way" @ one-time or another.

I've watched him work on this issue 'til he's pullin' his hair out...as is often the situation...he's been workin' on something for much longer than you'd think.

I think he's nuts; but, he's simply a hard-core enthusiast that wants to watch some good racin'.

Those tracks might be slick but they are not blue groove, rock hard concrete like say Carlsbad in the day. The GP's have deep sand, black loam, and hard pack. It helps mix up the points.

And don't forget Saddleback...

Hangtown does get Blue-Groove on the hillside part of the track...as does Steel City.

Yep. I rode at Monster last weekend and was imagining it. It could happen easily. Probably the best track I have ever been to besides AMPmx. AMP doesn't have the parking. I could be wrong though.

Doubt they have the parking. I lived there for a while. Used to have a key to the track's gate. That place is bad ass. Justin barcia used to come out and race there a lot. But I know that barber had RC out at the grounds looking at stuff for designs. And the bomber if I'm not mistaken.
