Who think's Josh Grant would have put it on top of the box at a Supercross round this season, if he hadn't been injured at Anaheim?
Does he have the speed to run with the 5 "Aliens" Villopoto, Reed, Dungey, Stewart or Canard?

I doubt it myself but He would have taken that 6th best guy position from K-Dub probably. Thats coming from a KW homer too.

I don't think so either...he be running with short and windham. should be podium material outdoors.

I think he would of been the "best of the rest". I think for him to win he'd have to have a perfect race and the top 5 have a few mistake each

For sure! He has the speed and ability when not injured. I think he would have scored a win somewhere, especially with all the mayhem thats happened this season.

Grant is not a contender, he will continue to post poor results and I doubt he will be with Honda at the end of the outdoors. I also have a feeling he wont be able to find a ride after that, not with all the talent willing to work hard and put out a better image than Grant does.

That's a big if. Villopoto probably would have won the SX and MX if he hadn't been injured (or JS and CR if they hadn't been injured).

Grant could have had a shot at a win if he started the series healthy. He came in injured and only made it to round two before his run in with Jeff put him out.

No but I think Weimer or pourcel could have.

I tend to agree with most of this, but not the image thing, as he projects okay by me for the sport we're in.

Probably on a "filler" team next year.

If you think Weimer had a better chance at a sx win then Grant you are seriously high. I think Grant just needs to finish a few races in the top five and get comfortable with the consistency of the top speed and go for it. The poor kid hasn't had a chance to even find a groove or a real rhythm on a 450. Something always fucks him up. Kinda sad and I hope he can pull himself out of the shit slump when he comes back. Does anybody know if he is gonna make the outdoors?

Completely agree, pretty sure he had reconstructive surgery on that ACL he tore, i wouldn't think he will make outdoors.

Not a chance in this field. Pretty surprised Honda gave him the factory ride to be honest, I wonder how long the contract is? I'd love to see Canard and Barcia team up for big red.

I think jg is a great rider but 5 guys that fast mean u need more then luck to win, I could of seen him on a podium no doubt maybe more then once but winning at this point will only come from the big 5.

I agree bro. I know he won one a couple years ago but he really needs to be able to run that pace, consistently before he can even be considered an outside threat for a W, and he just hasn't been able to find the right combination.
