Ha ha, great pic. What event was that at? Check out the Bul in the background. Looks like a lefty rear brake righty shift set-up. I'd kill myself on that thing.

This was a Vintage event in the UK , I was emailed this photo from a friend in the UK.

The only real outcome of this was Zach gaining lots of respect and new fans.

And I bet a new respect for how Good the New bikes are

I bet Zach's lap times were still pretty quick compared to the vast majority of guys on new bikes... that's the beauty of motocross... it's not about the bike.

Judging by your body English Zach I would say you had a lot of fun racing those old scooters

It's Whaddon Farm in Owslebury. Few miles from Winchester, old school track...

I had one of those bad boy`s. I believe that might be a 73`. First year for the dreaded Therma-flow shocks. It looks like Zach might be sporting some USD`s.

what's funny is the dude on the Bultaco is not only kicking on the wrong side, it looks like he's missing it completely.

That old Yamaha probably scared the crap outta Zach. Those old pre-YZs weren't much more than a DT with high fenders, black engine cases and hubs and different paint scheme.
