just like hannah and bradshaw was,,,,so why hate him and blow your stack trying to evaluate his style....cause you cant! other than the hard core critics/haters in here....casuals like my 72 yr old da donly tune in every week to see either his ungodly talent or the yardsale he'll be involved in....as do i. because when he rips perfect laps....it's like he's been touched by god...yet when he gets enveloped in a semi first turn yard sale due to a stupidly designed track that took out the leaders in both classes....the either racists or haters call in his career.
the speed he's shown lately on a open track....and the fact that he's the only one other than rc that' he's won 24 motos....c'mom. be serious, rv ect doesnt have that second a lap to compete if all is straight. a bit of luck and he's gone.
up here in canada, we see skill....we don't hang our toothless fatass bellies over the fence hating the blackman!!

If he can calm down & ride smarter IMO he can win many championships.
+ I think the Yamaha doesn't suit him.

i actually believe there's a few (very few) that might be able to hang with james one lap...or 2. but the problem is they are not bred or even have that type of thinking....which is go as fast as possible for 1 lap and a million dollars. which seems kinda they way james thinks.
and all this bulllshit about james being more mature and using his head more and actually thinking more....is just that, bullshit. his record speaks for itself this year. maybe the worst year in terms of percentages james stewart has ever had.
but i love, as do you watching james ride a scooter, for absolute pure speed and ability on a scooter, imho NOBODY has ever approached his speed and shear ability to muscle a scooter around a track....EVER.
not magoo (danny had more natural ability than anybody imho), not hannah, not lackey....no one.
glad yer still around ric and see you in vegas.
My take on JS is he is a great RIDER but only a decent/mediocre RACER.
I say that because while his Races/Titles won is a pretty frikin' good career....................he had the potential to be so much more...........................................he will go down in history as a pretty damn good RIDER but not the great RACER he could of been
This sport is not a part time thing anymore. . What MC did will not ever happen again.
nope, i'm pretty sure you'd still feel that you won. james has crazy talent, but he's crashed an incredible amount (so did RC, ect) throughout his career, and even just this season. i say... put him on a honda, then i'm a fan
The problem with James is that people see his potential and what he is capable of, and he doesn't always capitalize on this so they think it is okay to claim he isn't a good racer?
Never forget the first time I saw him race in person at Southwick, trying to keep up to the 450fs' on that Kawi 250. The way he threw that thing down & low one legged like when the track was going the other way around over what is now the finish line jump going WFO pegged had my jaw in the sand, every time he came around.
Secondly, I'd like to point out that there are some people on this site (and others) that are JS7 fans mainly because he is the most successful "african american" in the sport. It's equally racist to LIKE someone because of their race as it is to DISLIKE someone because of their race. So ultimately, they are racists as well.
I personally think JS7 is great for the sport. Very fast (at times), very exciting (win or crash), and brings a lot of skill to the sport (he brings the competition level WAY up). As an individual rider, I have no problem at all with the guy - I'm just an RV2 fan. I'm not anti-JS7, just pro-RV2.
And while that 24-0 is impressive, let's see him go 24-0 against the current field of RV, TC, RD, CR, and a CP (assuming he gets a ride). THAT would be U-FRIGGIN-MAZING.
The majority of the advantage he has had the last few years is gone. By next year it will be zero or less than.

My Magoo jersey is a keeper - RIP.
Does anyone know with Brookes out of the picture, if this will effect his decision to race outdoors?
6th lap he is second. WTF was he doing those 5 laps?
