Remember when Jeremy McGrath had them as a sponsor? Did you ever call collect that way?

I would love to see a picture of MC in his rookie 250 year with the sponsorship and with Sinisalo gear. He rocked!

I always used it to call home....some pretty cool stuff back in the day. I thought the sport had made it to the mainstream when I saw McGrath doing those commercials on TV.

I like the Coors and Camel stickers on the bike...I actually still have a few of those. I have a fishing box full of killer stickers from the 80's...

No more smoke or drink sponsors...wouldn't want Jr to see that and smoke or drink...just get em' loaded on sugar drinks!

MC also said that Alyssa Milano chainsmoked cigarettes the entire time they were on set.

Yes and I also used Surf for many years. Monster tastes horrible so I don't support that.

800 collect still alive? Seems like everyone has a cell phone nowadays and between texting, email or skype, I doubt many are calling collect.

Yep, pretty creative and outside the box thing. Some agents nowadays could take some notes here and there.
Look at Chad Reed for example..... Cough, cough, uhm....

Wasn't Regis Harrington Alyssa's stunt double for her riding part. I think he also did stunt work in Motocrossed and Charlies Angles full throttle

Does anyone remember calling the MOTOLINE to get the results as soon as the SX race was over on Saturday night ? Long before Vital, motodrive, freshdirt and no live lap times. Befrore that it was Cycle news on Tuesday before you knew who won.

Funny, just the other day I was talking about this with my brothers.
It made us all think about another great moment in tech history, remember calling time and temp? Tongue

I had friends who thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
