Now that the economy has allowed my business to turn back around I want to start racing again but need to practice first. A client just handed me his keys to 20 acres in Corona and said have at it. Blank canvas baby! 5 minutes from home. Life is good.

Go ride the area tracks and take photos of what you liked.
I say draw up a plan before leasing equipment.

Housing nearby?

The owner is a grading contractor and there is a D6 sitting on that graded pad at the end of the winding road. I designed his dream house on the ridge and once he got done with the grading and the road up to the top the economy tanked and he decided to hold off on the house for a couple of years.

To MXB2: I'm still a 2-stroker, 06 YZ250 and I also have 2 restored '80 YZ 250's that I ride in a vintage class

How can I help? Seriously? When a guy like you, a forward thinker, has 20 acres in Corona and you want to build a track? All I can think is. Share!

I know a lot of people that would be willing to help. Just say the word.
