If Chad, James or RD even want a shot at the title they will need pull and "Atlanta" on RV, and soon. If TC can get in the mix that could really change things, but all of those guys seem to forget that RV is the points leader. Chad and RD let RV off the hook during the first lap this past weekend and James let him off the hook on the start. At this point they really only have 6 races left since RV has a 26 point lead.

I agree, up til now he has done it all the right way, taking what is given and keeping it on two wheels not to mention he's fast when he needs to be..

I think I said this already, but you have to be racing RV2 to put an "Atlanta" on him. Running 6 or 7 seconds behind will not cut it.

So if you cant beat him...crash him? Ok, just wanted to make sure I got the plan. RV is winning this title because he is earning it. I also dont think anyone is going to risk trying to punt him and wind up crashing themselves. Not when so many people are so close to each other in points. Why would Reed or James risk hurting themselves or dnfing a race just to take RV out? All that does is screw them and help everyone else. And even if they wanted to, I dont think anyone has the balls to do it. If it was a few points difference and we were heading into the last round then sure, but not a full race difference and 2nd through 5th being so close. They better hope he crashes or his bike lets go, otherwise this is as good as over.

well said Nerd- and P I think RV is a bit more smart about it...did you see how he handled Reed after the pass with the inside protection? Did you see how he rode his own race and stayed away from lapping JS at Daytona? That RV is a smart racer-

These guys are not “letting” RV do anything. He is executing a game plan and they have no choice in the matter.
