Chase left Honda because when Jett moved up he was no longer #1, he left KTM because they were in financial trouble, we don't know why he left Kawasaki, people have speculated it was bike or it was the team, maybe it was both.
KTM would welcome him back, there is no bad blood, but his best option is Suzuki, Ken can help him sort the bike.
Agree with you on KTM, but remember DeCoster saying, "We don't know what Chase wants."
DeCoster's comment was more nuanced...
Fair enough. 👍

I seem to recall that prior to his KTM contract finishing that Chase was not even speaking to anyone on the KTM team. That was just over a year ago; have they forgotten already?
Or maybe they haven’t forgotten but are using that leverage to really screw Chase down on a deal.
His stopped following Kawasaki and monster energy Kawasaki on his instagram today so maybe some news is on the horizon
Thanks for stalking for us lol
Chase was very vocal about the bike not being what he was looking for around the time he signed with KTM. He signed with KTM with over a full season left and Honda got the bike dialed for him by the time he left. But he wanted to leave because of the bike ( at the time) and Jett and Hunter being on the team . He was also very vocal about disliking the KTM and wanting to get off of it.
He might have given other reasons like the ones you listed in addition to the bike issues. But that doesn't change that he has been vocal about the bike setup at every team he's been on.
I am a fan of his and I hope he gets on a bike that he can be comfortable on and be upfront battling at the start of 2027.
If true just shows what a tiny person mentally he is.
Sometimes stuff like that is in the contracts. So it could be that simple. Honda was unhappy with McGrath for riding a Kawasaki Jetski when Honda didn't even make one. Riders riding quads from other brands has also been a problem. Lots of little things like that buried inside contracts. The bigger the rider the more things like that that are in there.
Chase is the biggest Chase hater on vital.
McGrath did not ride Kawasaki Jet Ski to piss off Honda, he was seen surf riding a Yamaha Blaster 700 watercraft. At the time, Honda did not manufacture watercraft, so there was a rule against McGrath recreating.
he's also following red bull, is that new or has he always?
Thanks for correcting me on the watercraft thing. People calling any of those things Jet skis makes it hard to remember what brand it was.
The brand that he was riding doesn't matter other than it wasn't a Honda and that was the issue. There are clauses in contracts that prevent people from doing anything the 2 parties agree to. Some Patriots players that rode around here locally bought Utility quads to ride on because their contracts did not allow them to ride motorcycles of any kind.
In MC's case I think it was just that it wasn't a Honda , not that it was the activity. But then again, Hanna broke his leg waterskiing so maybe it was just watersports were not OK. Sucks getting old and not having the perfect memory I used to have.
Blair / Matthes saying Quadlock Rockstar KW14 Honda probably factory bike and Honda bonuses.
Geico mark2
Did mention HEP too
Bro I actually like him. He's so fast and I want an American to be able to compete. But he is such a malcontent that it has made the last 4 seasons about his happiness with team or bike the main storyline. That's frustrating.
The media and forums have to talk about something, even if the storyline is not true.
People do NOT take this into account often enough. Thank you for pointing it out.
Pit Row
He's won two 450 titles in the last 4 years 🤷♂️
I don’t think it’s uncommon for riders to do that, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s in their contracts that they aren’t allowed to follow other manufacturers/sponsors on social media.
He's probably not even running that account.
"He's so weak mentally because he doesnt follow the people I want him to on social media!!"
The alarming degradation of society. It's sickening how seriously people take social media.
