I will agree, though running at minimums could add a latency to your game which will result in the rest of the people you are racing are through the finish line while you are still on the track. And $1600 is far from fire breathing. $3200 yeah.
That said, we are two years later and don't even have a public beta? Yeah a $400 laptop will currently play what we have.
I know, and I’m wondering that too.
Game is starting to look really good.. I was questioning it 6 months ago with some of the gameplay. Developing nice tho
Hate that gta is setting the standard for games to be so expensive, is mtg gonna be $80?
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Why no console release? Wouldn’t you do that first?
I’m wondering how much its going to be like a sim vs arcade. It has the look of the sim games for sure. I wonder if theyve cracked the code and make the bike and rider move realistically while not having to be a complete sim thats crazy hard to learn. Those are fun and have their place, but sometimes you just wanna hop in a game and play without having to be a professional. Itd be crazy if they managed to pull it off where it looks realistic but isnt insanely hard to play.
If I remember correctly it's more sim than arcade, but you'll be able to adjust the assist level to your liking so it's easier to play.
Just give us a playable demo already 😫
Count me in, will see yall on the starting line when my thumbs don’t make me look like Brandon
I really hope it’s about as hard as MX Bikes and similar controls. Games that are a challenge to learn are far more rewarding and fun once you get good. Then again bikes is a lot easier than sim and I enjoy bikes more.
Take my money
Okay i'm sold, definitely buying it when it gets released.
looks really solid.
any updates on when it will be available for console?
I will find you, and I will hunt you down on that starting line lol
Pit Row
actually getting excited about this game
Count me in. Have to get some vital lobbies happening.
I think this guy is expecting too much and making excuses. Looks great. Let it out. Let people break it in Beta.
Yeah, I always wondered why that isn’t already a thing in MX Bikes. I thought about starting a Vital Race Series in MXB, but I’m too busy nowadays.
Hopefully someone does it one day, Im talking a proper VitalMX championship in MXB (or MTG, then), with a DC server, leaderboards, prizes, etc.
Hey, if anyone reads this and I’ve given you the idea and you end up doing it, you’re welcome 😄
Lets see some deformed rutted tracks
Was a skeptic but game looks like it has actual potential...
...except there isn't a single sim available for console, which is what this will be for a lot of us. There's plenty of shitty arcade moto games available on console
Hopefully the customization isn't blocked behind endless microtransactions.
How do you think they make money?
This is easy to figure; Its been two years of salaries for a team and the game cost $80 dollars. (As an example) You have $2 to $2.5 million spent. Maybe more. Add the marketing and wholesale cost. They need to sell at minimum 35,000 copies to get that money back.
Yes, I'd expect microtransactions to be a reality.
The video game industry survived for decades without them.
Not really. If you are my age, it may seem like yesterday, Its a viable business model for these guys. Below is just console and PC, mobile they really push this. I can remember buying Manufacture bike skins in one of the last games I played, that was probably 2010. 16 years now?
The First was in 1999. 27 years ago.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QuizQuiz_%28video_game%29
"Released in 1999, it was one of the first free-to-play games using a microtransaction revenue model."
Roughly Half the Games survive on this and 30% of all the top games use it.
https://newzoo.com/articles/post-pandemic-growth-pc-console
"PC monetization remains structurally microtransaction-led. In 2025, microtransactions accounted for 48% of PC revenue ($20.6B ), while premium game sales represented 29% ($12.5B )."
https://www.polygon.com/gaming/562733/oblivion-remastered-bethesda-horse-armor-dlc/
"Back in 2006, $2.50 downloadable content was a joke — an insult to a generation of people who were used to buying a game with everything included. "
IRacing has desensitized me to the cost of DLC/microstransactions at this point.
