Likewise, i like Ricky Carmichael but i think he almost tried to pull in NASCAR speak into Supercross, and for that I'm still not pleased. In his wake, we have a host of racers and TV commentators, Carmichael included, saying things like "no doubt about it"....hundreds of times. At least they dropped the "get er done" lingo.......f.i.n.ally
"no doubt about it" needs a break, there really is no doubt about it.
Credit to Emig for being spontaneous and quite eloquent as a commentator. Couldn't be more impressed with him, he's one of the best we've had. Then again, having real racers call the televised broadcast is always nice. Even Ralph seems to be coming around now, speaking from the heart a lot more.
What's impressive about Emig is how he's overcome a pretty severe stutter and embraced the role he's in. I expect some of the times there's a hitch or one of the those "okays" it's a device to keep him rolling.
Not used as much this year, but "The Fastest Man on the Planet" grew old quick, real damn quick!
I get a kick out of RC's "braaap". My kid and his buddies are always doing that about jumps!
