Of course I can Nemann, I am always happy to share. And with the time off hopefully I can get something good thrown together...I will start working on that tomorrow.

And Ddavis...I usually keep my mouth shut on your topics and posts, and today I am going to keep it that way with the exception of a couple questions. Have you ever heard of a pm? Before you make an accusation on a public forum in that regard, maybe go to the person directly instead of making them look like an idiot for flipping you off. Because as much as you would like to be noticed, it was NOT me and I'm sure it wasn't anyone from the TLD crew. These guys are in the public eye all the time, and are mature enough to know that.

And back to the topic, as much time as I spend in that truck, I can't take credit for it as being mine! haha. Anyways, here is my personal vehicle for moto..

I like that set up for a little trailer!, Where did you get that tent for the trailer?, or is it a normal tent put up by the trailer?

Yeah it's just a regular dining tent that we put over the back.We have a new one that has fold down sides so its good when there is bad weather.I also have a bed that folds down inside the trailer. It's a small setup but it does the trick.

I use a ratty 3/4 ton Chev with 300,000 miles on it and a 6 x 14 trailer. Usually three of us going to the races together, sometimes four.

15 years ago when I got into this game that would have been overkill. I think this thread is representative of everything wrong with the sport.

Well, I'm sure that more of us ride on here. I just didn't see the point of showing a picture of my bike in the back of my Dodge Ram. Doesn't seem as nice as a big rig with multiple bikes in it.

And now I'm a lawyer! All that without a single day of college. Funny shit here. I know probably a hundred plus people who own motorhomes, someone should have told me that a motorcycle enthusiast couldn't have one. Should have checked here first.LOL

MX used to be about groups of people pouring into off-the-beaten path shitholes of land, all to have a good time to hang out and race with each other. Nobody spent a wad, the bike itself was the biggest cost of participation.

Fast forward ten years and now races are only held at tracks with acres and acres of flat parking for these behemoths. They are canceled the minute there is enough rain to get Mini Dad's bus stuck. Lots of great tracks lost to this. Not much local racing anymore, everyone that has these rigs travel hundreds of miles to faraway tracks/RV parks and make entire weekend jaunts out of it. Goddamn races starting at 6am because of it, everyone is there overnight anyway.

It's just costs, man. Monkey-see, monkey-do makes everyone think they need one of these beasts to not be ostracized. And its sheer lunacy to see a huge rig pull in and have one bike roll out of it. Can't think of one overall benefit they've created.

I`m thinking about moving to Texas and putting myself up for adoption. Any possible new Dads out there? Newmann? That rig is without a doubt the way to travel. I was thinking about posting a picture of me next to tbteams ex-hauler but he knows everybody. I would post a picture of my 65 Pontiac 2+2 Catalina with my clamp on the rear bumper bike hauler but then I would become the envy of this thread. I got laughed at alot but man, that thing sure hauled ass. Had Air Conditioned too.

Why don't you buy an old vintage or post vintage bike and go have some fun. Races start late, end early and everybody gets extra laps. At least that's how it is here in Texas. No need for a new bike every year either as a 74 model is still the most competitive bike in the class. A 81 Maico 490 or 81 YZ465 will dominate that class for the next forever. I've been racing the same 74 CR125 and 250 Honda since 1992. Just think of al that money saved.....you too could have a motorhome. Plus, you and your wife could both work two jobs each , open your own business and not take a vacation together for 17 years. And don't take a sick day from work for 20 years either. Some of you people can't see the forest for all of the trees. It's comical. Laughing Laughing Laughing

No vintage racing in my region Newmann...but it's not really my thing anyway.

I'm glad you enjoy your purchase, and can appreciate that you worked hard to get it.

I also find it delightfully hypocritical that you rail day and night about the costs of modern four-strokes (which I actually agree with 100%), and yet you tote your jalopies around in a rig that costs more than some people's homes.

Funny you mention that, one of the major selling points for me on the behemoth was that the rear axle can be locked in giving me 8 wheel drive to get out of those situations. Got to try it out on our first trip as it rained all night and day 2 was cancelled. To say I was a bit nervous would be an understatement, but it motored right on out of there.
