I was fortunate enough to see his first race win as well as his beast mode rides at both Hangtown and Glen Helen in 2015.  The dude is a phenom and represents moto as well as anyone. Hard work, no flash.

That was tough to watch him just fall in line and ride off,   But he deserves it.   I hope he gets the itch and comes back in some capacity...

Glad he is walking away healthy but sad to see him go.

I hope Eli goes away for a little while to enjoy not having to grind day in and day out then gets the itch and comes back just to have fun very much like RV2 did. The sport needs him around.

He better have a belly next time we see him.

Decompress, spend time with the family, eat too much, enjoy life full time for a while, do the things he's been putting off all these years in order to grind. He's earned it.

Good to see him retire.... but seeing him go from crushing sx and likely winning another title, to running around in the teens, in just a few months times, is wild.....

His whole mentality changed, what did you expect?

I’m glad we didn’t see a full season of this. Going out a multiple SX race winner was just gravy on top of his career.

Not a chance. “Son, now that you aren’t racing anymore we’ve got more time to ride bikes”

Jmart was cheered on by John Tomac at the ‘24 Leadville 100. Would not be surprised if this was Eli’s next hobby. Certainly has genetics and work ethic for it.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure he’s mentioned having interest in Dakar. Would be cool to see him get involved in that like Shorty did.

I legit got emotional when they showed him at the opening ceremonies. Going to miss him out there for sure.

I was hoping for one last great ride this series but clearly you can tell with him that the switch is off and it's been off since he came back from his latest injury. I know it's an apples to oranges comparison, but it really makes what Jmart did last year in his last race so insane

I put together a little gallery with pics I shot of ET3 from throughout the years a few weeks ago...

Yea he was definitely over it. I knew when I saw him not even take the sight lap last night that his last race wasn't going to be some amazing last ride.

Decal Works added a cool little detail in the graphics for his final race.
