Jace at Gypsy Tales had a take on the whole deal with Cooper/Deegan that I tend to agree with. It wasn't the love tap by Haiden and resulting fall that Webb was so pissed about. It was the fact that he felt betrayed by Deegs, who he honestly figured was his teammate & wouldn't do him that way, after he'd gone out of his way to be supportive of him in interviews and podcasts in the past. He saw it as total disrespect, and even voiced his opinion that Haiden had no respect for anybody. The hit wasn't a big deal...it was the attitude behind it.

If you think it was just about the take out then you’re high. It wasn’t about the contact. It was about the fact that the one rider that has helped deegan gets taken out. haiden could have run the straight next to Coop and passed clean in the next corner. Instead he saws the front wheel of a teammate that has worked with him to try to get him closer to Lawrence speed. I’m betting Cooper was also suppressing resentment of the deegans taking over the 450 rig, and that he STILL worked with haiden to help him…and the team. Coop has a ton of knowledge about winning big bike championships and regardless of haiden being slightly faster than Coop, there is a lot for coop to offer to help haiden. It seems Coop has been doing that. haiden’s thanks? Sawing out Coop’s front wheel. haiden just lost any good faith with the only 450 rider that didn’t (outwardly) think haiden is a douche.

I don't think he'll get a chance to "be nicer" to him. I feel pretty good that Coop will clean his freaking clock in the final in Missouri given the opportunity. I don't think he was playing when he said he'd make sure Deegan didn't win the title.
How has dom not been suspended or banned?
If Webb is back to all chummy with Deegan that is some major backpeddling from "make damn sure Deegan doesn't win".
Up until that picture I thought Webb was going to unleash hell on Deegan at the final.
I like to think this is a guise to throw everyone including Deegan and the team off but I’ll be disappointed if Coop doesn’t stand on business
