I was legitimately happy with the coverage for the first time in a long time. Multiple moments I said to myself “they’re missing a battle” only for them to cut to it a second later.
Catching Ryder Malinoski ride the pole was excellent camera work. I get it’s been crap with the split screen and watching 8th place when you can see the gaps up front shirking, but I felt they did better tonight.
The track map for next week looks interesting. hopefully, there’s no rain and everyone sends it. The 250s is close and Star drama for the 450s.

Maybe some of you are younger and haven’t seen supercross where they had a legit intro, the tracks were far more technical, the series ran better, and Feld wasn’t pushing political crap. It was just racing. But hey you do you and be vaguely content with absolute dog shit of a product

I’m old enough to remember waiting for race reports in Cycle News, selected race broadcasts a week later and no internet. I am thrilled to be able to watch some sort of motorcycle race nearly every weekend of the year and I thoroughly enjoyed the live broadcast last night.
What ‘woke narrative’ yesterday got you so fired up? I was doing some chores part of the race so I legitimately may have missed something horrible, but I certainly didn’t see anything.
As for the track, it gave some pretty damn good racing, didn’t it?

The track sucked. The points system sucks.
We had the best racing since the SX final. Possibly even better. Guys back and fwd into the top 5 of 1m USD during full 20min.
This type of racing was rare even in monster cup with a full hybrid track. Story lines beyond what we could hope for.
Money and points system give the incentive to riders. Tracks doesn't matter one bit, and it was clear tonight.
You lack analytical capabilities unfortunately, I think you do best to stick to watching old races from the 90s on YouTube.
While you spew your analytical crap, multiple racers have said the track sucked and the event sucked. So yeah, great job seeing the obvious. If you want to watch nascar go watch nascar. I like the lads to be challenged. To further illustrate my point, look at the stands. Supercross used to be packed to the gills. Great racing? Dudes falling in the sand saved the whole entire night. It was a snooze fest until that moment.
Did the racers watch the racing, or did they race? That's what I mean, you use the view from within a helmet saying it sucked at the same time everyone having two eyes watching the race on TV saw something else.
Every race the outcome was changed multiple times, tight racing for key positions.
Meanwhile you are looking at how much water they put down before practise, how many jumps there are, and the stadium quality which absolutely no one not being there could have any opinion on.
Simple tracks typically generate better racing. We don't want tracks one rider put together and riders fight to make the jumps or whoops, because you know what happens? They race the track instead of each other 🤦

A lot of folk were upset when I said the first two rounds were a joke. The experience as a whole was really poor if you are promoting a “super” moto cross. The reasons it was below par are the following
-venue, it doesn’t have to be the best. But if it is just OK and the track is a glorified AX for rookies without whoops, coupled with bad production on the coverage (not announcing, they keep it held together) you get a shitty round
-track, I am all for close racing. But not at the expense of the tracks. These guys are the best on the world. Give them a good product to showcase these skills. Go look at tracks from 2000-2015. Way better tracks, and guess what? Close racing. Feld continues to fail. Less dirt is being utilized, smaller obstacles, less 180 berms that promote racing, more shit 90’s. Then you have the floor space issues. That is becoming a joke. Build more nets, and utilize 180 bowl turns again.
-feld, wow what is going here? The media are in fear, will be priced out, and the sport loses a shit load of coverage. Meanwhile, opening ceremonies used to be a badge of honor and was a legit cool thing to see. Today, wtf is this monster truck style junk? Having your name being called for being a champion, or top 3 in points was a legit thing. More personal, and overall a better experience.
So I will say again, Feld, the AMA, have absolutely screwed this crap up for a while now. We could have TV coverage that is professional, not dumbed down, and actually showcases our sport in the correct manner. Not the gimmicky crap that Bondo continuously puts out that is a constant mess of miss communication and a disaster of timing, and planting stories instead of focusing on the racing at hand.
While I am happy to have races, it is easy to see the riders are not pumped, the teams are not happy, the media is not happy, and many on this board are cool with it because “close racing” and mot understanding that Feld continues to cut corners.
Bikes have improved, rider technique has improved, training has improved, TV technology has improved.
YET, Feld has not improved our sport, they are tightening the noose and producing a lesser quality product, and Bondos run as producer has yielded zero improvement. Art and David vs today the only difference? Today they cram idiotic interviews in the middle of races, have 6 different announcers for ADHD throw everything at you style, and for some unknown reasons, don’t understand graphics, and how not to change the camera 8000 times and utilize a drone that has 480p quality. In other words, the dude is literally dumb with his decision making at the helm. Give us someone new with ideas to showcase the sport and make it exciting not WWE and cheesy
