My old lady lost her Aussie Marc Andre Fleury two weeks ago. He was the fattest Australian Sheppard you'd ever seen. 
She bought him purebred from someplace in North Carolina, for like 3K to get him to Alaska I think. He was a pretty funny dog. I raised him as a puppy that first year. He was smart as all hell and well trained. I always felt bad for him, as he was a farm dog living in an apartment. 

We split for 10 years, and I had him for the last 3 years of his life. When I saw him again I was so sad for him, but his mom loved him. She got him because she knew her mom was passing of terminal cancer and this dog was gonna keep her going. So thought he got robbed, he lived a noble life

I gave him a yard he always deserved, and he was a happy guy. He annoyed the ever-living shit out of me, but our house feels so empty without him.  He slept all day and made sure when it was bed time to become a menace.
