2027 MXGP Season

I might see if I can go the the Czech round.

20 rounds over nearly 8 months, and a week gap between the last GP and the MXDN. Looking forward to hearing "too close to the end of the AMA outdoor Nationals...it's at the end of a long season..." etc when selection time comes round next year..

Maybe they should go back when MXGP (250/500) and MX2 (125) were standalone Grand Prix and both classes had less GP per year. 

Do 10 European MXGP and 10 European MX2 GP at dates that dont clash. 

Then do 2 or 3  flyways where both MXGP and MX2 will run at the same event. 

Thats 12-13 GP season per class. 

Infront can actually make money at 22-23 events in stead of 20, the championships are much better manageable for teams & riders, and the fans have 23 GPs & probably at all races more riders

What EU location would be the most fun one to go to? Never been to Europe and want to go and make a GP race the excuse

China 1 week after Trentino? That can't hold. Nice to see the last GP in Switzerland this year though. 

Would like to see Lugo in the tbd spanish venue... but luongo being luongo is looking for big enough mall carpark to put track on to.

Loket is a great GP and nice region. 
Lommel is obviously something special with the sand. 
Arco is special having the mountains at the background and you are 20 minutes from lake garda, which if the weather is good is a great area.
If Portugal is in Agueda then the combo of either Lissbon or porto as city trip and then a trip to the track (2 hour drive) is also nice
And France will be nice with St Jean being a crowded GP
 

You can add Payerne in Switzerland (last round in 2027). Great country to visit!

I'm sure the teams are going to be glad to have to do three separate trips to the Iberian Peninsula across three months. 

Portugal being TBA is an interesting one, i've spent a lot of time in the country and they have some beautiful tracks other than Agueda. Unfortunately, the other tracks basically have no spectator parking. Casais de Santo Quintino, not far from Lisbon, is one of the best tracks i've ever been to. However, the track is at the top of a small mountain and the entire crowd parks along the edge of a narrow winding road. Walking in and out of that track along the road was one of the craziest things i've done at a race, with cars literally driving at you!

I have a feeling if it was not at Agueda it would probably be at some man made track at either Estoril or Portimao.

This year the F1 in Zandvoort (Netherlands) and the MXGP in Arnhem was on the same weekend. I went to F1 on the Friday (sprint day) and the MXGP on Sunday. Perfect weekend!! I don’t know why that wasn’t promoted more because I didn’t realise the overlap until about 2 weeks before the weekend and I follow both sport religiously.
