Tom Vialle is a better way to look at this. He had, what I would consider, far more success, and was older. There is ZERO shot they do anything of note in SX and to be frank, SX will likely lead to injuries that only cause set backs in MX. 

The 250 class has less talent and a far easier schedule. They are 19. Tom came over at 22 and left with an SX title and did very well in MX.

Vialle was a two time MX2 champion when he came to America. He moved up to the MX1/450 class when he went back to Europe this year. 

Very different from Lucas Coenen who has had 450 experience

Not really. Prado had 3 week camp after winning his first title and rode a handful of races in his offseason with no pressure. Then he came back did a full camp, rode two races, got hurt and then did an entire camp again before being ready this year. It was a multi year plan and it still didn't end with him making every round.

Not really. Prado had 3 week camp after winning his first title and rode a handful of races in his offseason with no pressure. Then he came back did a full camp, rode two races, got hurt and then did an entire camp again before being ready this year. And yes, it's always at least half of the field that seems to get injured in those 17 rounds. Expecting guys like Prado and Coenens to make every round and keep it "safe" while riders that ride SX for 5-10 years can't do it is kinda.. silly. It's just the the risk of the sport and how things are and it's only getting worse.

Another thing with some people wanting to see Lucas on the 250 for SX. Do you guys think the 250 class currently is actually more safe? Because I think it's the complete opposite currently. They all seem to ride without any awareness, specially on the start. The amount of 250 start/first turn crashes we had this year in both SX and MX is actually insane. Or is is this just for the sake of not having to do all 17 rounds? Then I still think selected 450 rounds would be the way better option, specially since he's so used to a 450. I really don't understand how this 250 thing with Lucas and SX is even a debate.
