If it was a takeout, Reed would've put him over the berm.
It wasn't a take out per say, but it was an absolutely piss poor attempt at a pass (for guys at this level).

Chad puts a blatant take out sh!t move on JS7 and people are still saying it James' fault because he wasn't "looking" for Chad. Are you serious? Reed was going perpendicular to the track with 3 feet left until the tuff blocks. I had a ton of respect for Chad until last night when the dude flat out LIED to the fans! Reed said, "He hit me pretty hard". WATCH the DAMN video! James made the cleanest pass possible. 100 times cleaner than Chads move. There were at least 2 times during the race where James could have made a shit move like Reed and didn't. He chose the high road.

I will say the move is great for the sport and keeps the series interesting. I'm just shocked about some of the reactions. If JS7 would have made that move people the boards would have blown up about how the guy in an idiot blah blah blah.

I hope James was serious when he said, "The rivalry is back on".

So what? Because KDub put the same move on DV I guess this type of pass should forever be acknowledged as the best racing move of all time? Oh you're right...KDub did it so it should be okay?

Do you remember last week when Hanny hit Cunningham? Emig said "Thats not something you want to teach your kids racing" or whatever. Chad's move was way worse than that.

I know I'm never going to win this battle nor are any of us going to agree. Just voicing my opinion like everyone else.

Wow is all I can say. Hanny's move on cunningham was a blatant take out move. Reed's was not even close to the same move. Stewart left a triple wide door open. Reed had the line blocked, stewart decided to go for it and they hit. If that move was so much worse then why didnt emig or anybody else call it out. Because everybody knows that it was a racing move and it was the last lap and it was a track that was hard to pass on. You call everybody else ignorant but yet you only see the incident they way you want to see it. I am done with this forum for awhile. Soon as all the retards get over it and move on then maybe this place can be sane again. we should all be stoked that the racing has been so great this year but instead everyone wants to point fingers and blame this person or that person.

I agree that the racing is good. I also see it from Reeds point of view. I'm just defending James because all the "retards" seem to think it was James' fault. Just defending my one of my favorite riders.

This thread was started with the intention to point out the hate directed to JS7. If you blame JS7 for CR22 and JS7 falling because James didn't "look" for Chad you're dumb. That's blatant ignorance and there were many people today who said that on this board.

For all of you "racers"...if someone put that kind of move on you in a moto at your local track you would be PISSED. That was a total sh!t move.

Hopefully JS7 quads a few jumps @ the next few SX races so all you haters go back into your holes.
I don't hate James, but I do hate retards like you who resort to calling everyone who does not see things James' way a hater.

I hate retards like you that refuse to see it from James' view and resort to hating on the fastest athlete in our sport week in and week out no matter the outcome. It gets old. And if my defending of JS7 bothers you then don't read my post.

HOWEVER, maybe not a block at that level, because I never would have expected a guy to be at a 90o angle to me in a 180o turn, cut off my line or slide in front, sure, but turn at a 90o angle to me in a 180o turn?
No

Either way, that's moto and it is a contact sport, though you don't typically expect the blocker to put himself into a position where there would be no positive outcome. NEITHER would have survived a scenario where one rider is at a 90o angle to the other rider who is accelerating from a 180o turn on a works 450cc motorcycle, and even if ABS brakes were legal, the rider never would have stopped in time...never.

I think if you want to compare, look at KW's block on DV a few years back, much better comparison.
In that instance, people called it a "shit move" and "pussy block" claimed he was going backwards on the track and that he should be fined and/or even suspended, but for some reason, an identical situation is now acceptable.

I find that interesting for a number of reasons.

It also highlights both the double standards many of you apply and it also highlights those of you who have never actually raced and/or raced at a higher level.

.
The Windham/DV incident had the same polarizing effect with the fans as this incident. To try to use that incident and deem it as being found unacceptable while this incident is allegedly acceptable and now highlights a double standard is a joke.

I'd venture a guess the amount of folks without a dog in either of these fights who would find one incident acceptable and the other unacceptable is likely minuscule. There is two camps, those who feel it was aggressive and good racing and those who feel it was over the line regardless of the racers involved.

Can't really compare the two.

DV / KW was the first lap. CR / JS happened on the last lap ... after a race long battle between the two for the lead. If anything the CR move is more acceptable because of it occurring on the last lap 5 turns from the finish. No one complains about much what happens in the LCQ. Newsflash - the last lap is the LCQ on steroids.

We may never know whether James could have backed off the throttle out of that turn ... but pinning it to power thru any block attempt seems to be his modus operandi. He's done it before.

IMO - They both rolled the dice. Chad was a hair late on the block and James chose to power thru it.

ha ha ha ha ha ha Stewarts field of vision??? So when exactly did Stewart have his neck fused? I wasn't aware that he wasn't able to turn his head to the right. How does he go that fast with a head that is fixed straight ahead.

This may be the dumbest shit I have seen on here. Its the last lap and you go outside? Here is a bright idea, be prepared and actually look to your inside and see if someone is trying to block your line.

What a load of BS those images are, people who think Reed could not make that turn without Stewart hitting him are as blind as shit. Reed was clearly going slow enough to hook it around into the top part of the berm/rut at the last second, these are not C class riders.

The whole problem with the Stewart vision crap is you don't need vision to know whats going to happen if you leave such a open line, it's called anticipation and Stewart should have known Reed would throw it up the inside when he was close behind on the last lap for the win.

Edit: BTW, Reed hit the triple before the turn probably the fastest he did all night, he was lower and faster there then Stewart was on the last lap.

Looking back at Bubba's pass on Reed. If Regal hadn't been where he was, would Chad have been punted over the berm??

Hopefully! I don't think James made much contact. He made a little because he had to. It wasn't nearly as bad as what Reed pulled. Just my opinion.
