Tom and Chiz should not hang onto those numbers. Kind of petty to keep it away from someone who is actively racing. Tom could run 101 if he decided to race a round or two (or whatever number he wants as AC222 proved this summer). If Chiz even races again it would be a one off “let’s see if I can still qualify” weekend. We don’t need to be reserving numbers for either of those situations in my opinion.

Why does nobody ever want to run the 8? Are they afraid of the Bradshaw curse? Do they think it looks bad? Seems like more guys have chosen to run the superstitious 13 (which I think looks bad ass) than the 8 recently.

Langston partially broke the Bradshaw curse when he won the title in '07. "And what I mean by that is..." unfortunately he wasn't able to defend because of his eye.

Crazy that was 20 years ago. I feel really old.

Bummed Davies doesn't go for 37 as his permanent number. It's been quite a season to remember.

I dont like the current number system.

IMO, single digits are for 450 champs only.

10 to 20 should be for 250 champs.

The only option is if they choose a higher carear number.

I reckon Davies would rock 8. Some pretty cool fonts out there!

According to Davies he’s considering a single digit and said 5 or 10 🤣

Anyone know the word on the #11 and #16? Chiz lined up for a race last year so he would have the option to keep it, yeah? then Tommy V has the 16 but probably no real desire to race over here again so how long until that is vacant?

Sounds like Chiz will be keeping the 11 for another year.

Mathis said today on blair mathis project that Ryder D was considering both 10 and 22...any word on this accuracy?

It could still change, but it looks like it'll be:

Davies #5

DiFrancesco #10

Chisholm #11

Hymas skipping #13 so it drops him to #16

Prado #61

No Change: Bloss #54

Drops Out of the Top 100: Masterpool #44

Biggest Jump Up: Roan van de Moosdijk #939 to #99

Heard the same Mav.  I'm shocked Ryder isn't taking 23 since it's what he chose as an amateur after 199 and made kind of a big deal out of it when he changed it.
