What brand, model and how much for that bike rack?
I am looking for one I could leave on, but still let my tail gate down when not in use. Any ideas? My current Bell (non e bike) rack allows a toggle out of the way, so I can let the gate down with the rack attached.

Was at a friend's house this weekend.
Went downstairs and over in the corner of a storage room was, A seldom ridden 92 specialized stumpjumper. In mint condition.
All original, even the tyres, but for a derailleur replacement, up to an XTR.
Told him he was hiding a damn collector's item down there.
The pic above was from yesterday. The local trail builder / maintenance guys have been doing an awesome job of weed whacking the trails clear, but the dead grass left on the trails is like ice. We need a 2nd guy with a blower to clear off all the dead stuff. I came around the previous corner going pretty good, went about an inch wide, got into the dry dead stuff on the side of trail, lost the front and wound up landing on my back where all the branches are laying flat beyond me in the pic. My buddy was too slow on the draw to get a good crash pic. I knew I landed in tick-ville and was in a large hurry to get out. 😮
Has anyone tried that "Cased" riding gear ?
Its a Kuat NV 2.0 they go for $900 new the guy had it listed for going price of $600 but when we got there he said he did not have a key for the pin lock my wife said nope like we were not going to buy it and she was working him as I said thats going to be a lot of work to get that off and after talking for about 10 min I offered him $550 and he immediately said Ill do it for $520 and I said sold!

A few good rack systems out there but In my opinion One Up builds the best mtb racks. Strong, light weight and fold up really small for storage. Only bad part is they are like gold for thieves

As for me, I can't wait to get an e-bike. I'm going to wait though; I'll probably abandon the pedal bike right away when I buy one!
99% of the time - regular mtb helmet and gloves. only full face/knees/elbows/chest if im riding lifts. it is just too hot otherwise.
Saturday We went ready to buy the New 2026 Levo aluminum model MSRP $5000 for $4200 out the door that I have seen listed on marketplace for a couple months and red flags started popping up when I was told the “dealership” is no longer a Specialized dealer and then they couldn’t even unlock it to see battery life or into the test ride mode for me to make sure its all 100% working in the parking lot. They didn’t even have pedals to put on it to do that.
Kind of odd when the guy literally said he didn’t have time to do this sale and if I didn’t buy it someone else would. My wife and I were both laughing when we got in the truck to drive away.
Went straight to the dealership we purchased my wife’s bike so I will be getting a 2027 in a couple weeks for $5000 when it comes in and it has a life time warranty for free.
I was told by friends the pedals and seat probably won't come on the bike, as their just cheapos on there for demo purposes. The shop I bought from just left them after I offered to take bike without them. The other stuff is sketchy, you have to register the bike with Specialized to activate the warranty and gain access to Mastermind TCU app controller. If someone else has already registered it in their name that would keep anyone else possessing the bike from theft, etc. He's probably right someone else will buy it at that price, but you likely dodged a bullet passing on it.

I figured out how to put it in Class 3 (28mph) mode today. Hopefully I can work on the jumps with the tractor as this blazing hot summer winds down, and we get some much needed rain!
Nice! What model is that? Looks like Marzocchi suspension. For sure it's got a bigger battery (and likely motor) than mine does based on the size of front frame downtube.
Oh yeah, what's a paddle bike?
This is the $5000 Levo alloy G4 and everything is pretty much the same frame, motor and battery as other alloy and carbon except they have different suspensions.
Im only planning on plonking around so Marazocchi suspension should be good.
