With 1 point Hunters way, and 50 points up for grabs:

Jett wins both motos - Champ (Not unlikely)
Hunter wins one moto - Champ (Not unlikely)

They both finish off the top step with Jet scoring 1 point more - Hunter is the champ-win count (unlikely)

Neither scores a point - Hunter Champ (extremely unlikely)

The only thing for sure - Lawrence on a Honda 1st and 2nd.

An amazing achievement for two brothers, Honda HRC, and a great result for Australia.

(I live on the Sunshine Coast, near their home town…)

Like 5 out of 4 people - my math could be out.

Hunter just needs to beat Jett one moto and finish no worse than one position behind him the other. Most likely they will go 1-2 both motos.

If Hunter can get moto one.  That will be huge for him.

Im happy that after hunters big get off 2 weeks ago it all ended up working out and now the championship is right there for either one take. The easiest way to seal the deal is to just go 1-1, then theres no math. So whoever can step it up for this one last race.. the championship is in their hands.

Jett handz the win to Hunta out of brotherly love, then gets a penalty, ala Kenny 2yrs ago.

I feel like he gave him that gift this weekend because he didn't want to end the championship like that and didn't put in his usual charge. I think we honestly witness their first real race against each other and it's going to be a dog fight at Ironman. It should be awesome to watch and I feel like it will set the tone for the next couple of years. They both know that they are better than everyone else but I think they are coming into an era where they are both so confident in themselves that their going to go back to their own childhood rivalry and they are going to be insane.

Hunter only has to win either Moto to guarantee a championship.

And finish second the other (assuming Jett wins the other moto).

As much as I hate to admit it, I honestly believe (and hope) that in some way, shape or form, the team, including Jett, get Hunter this championship.

The "pub test" determines that this has always been Hunter's season following SX. He's got the most wins, held the red plate the longest, is more "deserving" etc etc. His slip up last week couldn't have happened in a worse spot. If he tipped over anywhere else, he takes a 4th place moto finish worst case instead of a DNF and wild point swing.

Yes - see “5 out of 4 people struggle with math”!

So Hunter needs 1 win and 1 second to guarantee the title.
Jet needs 1/1.

Team Honda, and Team Lawrence have the title, and second place wrapped up don’t they?

They don’t even have to start next weekend and Hunter would be first and Jet second.

Third place Deegan is more than 50 points behind.

Again - if I’ve got it right

Jett has to makeup 2 points on Hunter to win, tie in points will go to Hunter
- Jett wins both motos and Hunter 2nd
- Jett wins one moto where Hunter gets 3rd and Hunter wins other moto with Jett 2nd

Hunter needs to win and finish just behind Jett in other moto to win.

Various scenarios with lower finishes but unlikely.

Funny how going into Budd’s 250 was separated by a point and 450 was separated by alot of points, leaving Budd’s it’s reversed.
