I really wanted to see what happened to the Series Points Leader. Crashes evidently pretty hard, has to get up and ride back to his mechanics area. Gets his bike worked on and come back out on to the track and they didn't show it. The Points Leader!!! That's all I'm going to say about that...

For all of those saying to quit bitching because the race was live. It technically wasn't live since there was 7-10 minute delay.

I really thought that last nights coverage was the best I have seen for SX. I loved how much most race stuff they did. They interviewed shorty, canard and millsaps, its great to hear from guys who didnt finish on the podium.

The TGO filmmaker needs to make one about SX. Those videos are so neat.

It did seem like the camera coverage was wrong but I think thats the producers fault. Maybe they need more spotters to help production. There was no coverage of Vilipoto's race form the back or the crash that made his bike look FMX. There were a couple passes for the lead that was missed, we could tell something was going on because you could hear crown reaction. Why wouldn't they keep cameras on the lead and also on the players like Villo? Maybe the repeat on Speed will be better as they will have time to edit and show more of what was going on.

Enough with the defending of the huge corporations. Honestly, it's so stupid. You guys act like it's the local highschool A/V club volunteering their weekend for us. It's SPEED, CBS, and FELD Motorsports for christ sake. Three HUGE companies that I'm pretty sure aren't gonna be offended by a couple of fans criticizing the broadcast because guess what... that means they watched it, which is all they're looking for in the end.
You definitely have a point there... I think a lot of people on here are 1, not privy to the capabilities of modern day video broadcasting; and 2, confuse constructive criticism for bitching. I mean, who ever said it was a bad thing to be observant and want a more professional production not only for core fans (e.g. vital) but prospective fans as well?

Also, while informal, this is really just qualitative feedback that Feld might otherwise have to pay for (i.e. focus group). All in the way you look at it I guess. Also a little side note, if you're criticizing the camera work (and not the production itself), I'm about 90% sure that all of the videographers on the track are outsourced, location-based contractors who do not specialize in filming mx/sx (same as the outdoor series).

x2 on the post race interviews. Kudos to Erin on that. I wish they did that more often.

I just wished that they have video of Windham's crashes and RV's crashes. In addition to the race actually being live.

Well we could always go back to waiting weeks to find out who won in the cycle mags. Live supercross coverage? No complaints from me.

They did. Came out in 2005 and it was called Rhythym And Blitz. Good movie.

I am getting kind of bored with the ceiling shots. I want to see more on the ground shots. I am happy that it was live. Hey, we are allowed to bitch. There is always room for improvement.

Love the live coverage... but have to agree 100% that the timing of the replays as of late has been horrible. The Trey Canard side by side replays on the last lap was ridiculous.

Grinning True. Family plans buggered that trip up. But dude, it was in the 40's last night. That's cold... Cool Low 60's today and that's chilly here in the southwest corner of the US. Tongue

I guess you guys need to tell Speed that they need at least one camera per bike so that would be a minimum of 20. Yeah that's the answer. Dry

How the hell do you expect them to catch everything that happens with 20 riders on the track at once? It's luck of the draw. If the rider wads while you have the camera pointed at them, then yes, you get the shot. If you are focused on a battle, other battles get missed. You cant get them, all. You guys have really taken this bitching about EVERYTHING to a new high. Nothing will ever be good enough for some of you. Maybe you guys need to find a new sport because I fear the negativity is punching holes in the very fabric of this one.

You have a points leader, at least keep one camera on him just in case! Can you at least agree on that? No matter who that points leader is, just one camera...

How about a camera that's zoomed out far enough to get the vast majority of the track? The picture might not be clear, but at least we'd have a vague idea what happened.
