To me, ONE does a great job of making gear thats not scared to be different. That’s why I wear it. It’s not the same old bs every year. There newest stuff looks sick but sadly the pants are out of stock for my size.

FOX LE and Alpinestars LE stuff is usually really cool imo as well.

Shift always broke barriers in design especially with LE stuff.

Thor is always trying new stuff imo, I appreciate them. Some of it hits, some of it is hideous.

Which pants are you looking for specifically and I’ll let you know about a possible re-stock date. We have a new LE set dropping in about a month.

X-297 Cross Neon, there are no jerseys either so hoping yall restock that so I can get some, it sold out kinda quick lol.

I know yall ain’t ever restocking that Fashion LE, I’m kinda pissed I never bought any of that. Size 34 and large jersey 😂

Excited to see the next LE drop!

Not trying to pile on, but man, I like Fly as a company, and JT really went out of his way to help me years back.

That said, the gear seems to get more bland every year. Everything is gray or silver now. Looking at this year's Evo and Lite lines, almost every standard colorway has gray in it. Last year's Evo SE Spark gear is a good example, swap the silver for something like gold, or a chameleon, and I think it'd have looked even better. Just my opinion

Maybe the sales numbers say otherwise, but I definitely see a lot less Fly gear at the track than I did a few years ago. I just picked up some One Industries gear, and so far I like it. Quality seems really good and to me it looks great.

Again, I like fly and hope their direction changes. It can get rough after a company is acquired.

Yeah everyone hates everyone's new gear anymore so I'm not too concerned about it. It seems like its been cool to hate on thor but then they bring up the cats stuff from years ago that we literally sold out in days as a sign of how much we suck lol.  We had almost zero closeout stuff from 26 so we must be doing something right.  It's impossible to make something that everyone likes but we keep coming out with new things and its doing great in my dealers.  Plus there is always a cycle with all the gear brands where we all take turns selling more than others but its also very regionally dependent as well.  The really dumb thing is all the new gear comes out at the end of outdoors.  This never made any sense to me because most of the country is winding down their seasons in August/September when most brands have their primary launch of the new stuff.  I would sure think launching the bulk of your products for A1 but they don't ask me haha!

Ah...you know how it goes, Spooner - the copy / paste these days is hate for THOR 😂

As the guy who green-lit the cat set as something fun to do (how DARE we have fun with dirt-action-stunt-cycles!?!?), it gives me great joy to know that, eight years on, people still bring it up. That right there is Residual Marketing: 101. Someone mentioned Musquin relating to this kit and they're right; we had an awesome ad campaign centered on Marvin as "Crazy Cat Lady" but had to shelve it because all the gear was literally gone in a matter of days.

For those still pining for the 2004 - 2007 days of THOR, you have been heard. Villo is back (and rad to work with again) and the graphic direction for these next couple seasons will definitely grab your attention.

So no new Formula Carbon helmets for 2027?

Isn’t that sort of strange?

This is their attempt at cutting edge lmao.

We all remember the iconic Emig or Reed kits, but there was a time when Shift produced things just as terrifying as that Fly Jersey...

😬

Took me a while to find them, thanks Tony Blazier.

I like this years Fly , to me it looks like they have moved in a certain direction the past few years especially since having more top tier riders and teams on board

It almost looks like they keep their two more premium lines in DST and Lite with a very open solid color on the front and back to allow teams and riders a blank canvas for their sponsors , while the Kenetic and F-16 line looks like are more colorful .

I like the Kenetic but there a couple of color ways that will make it hard to run sponsors across the front due to the print that is already there

Trust me, there are things we have done in the past that I absolutely hate. That’s just a part of it. But to say that we aren’t reaching anyone is difficult to swallow when I look at sales numbers across the industry on a comparative basis.

You should know better than anyone that apparel market share data doesn’t really exist in our industry. We all use lightspeed data as if it’s gospel but it’s certainly not. The vital survey is about as close as we can really get to consumer market feedback, and Fly has been on a downward trend the last few years. Maybe Fly sales are up, that’s great and I’m not mad about it. The problem is, this is the 2nd launch in a row that I’ve seen the comments trending negatively. Other brands don’t have this kind of reaction. Sometimes we have to look beyond the spreadsheets.

What Fly has done a great job at is being down to earth and relatable. We see the support for the media and the enthusiasm you put into everything you do. That alone might be enough to attract and maintain loyalty. This isn’t meant to bash you or Fly. I think the consensus is that the gear designs are what need help.

The golden rule of selling to dealers, its not sell in that counts its sell out. A brand will only ever look at what has been sold to a dealer to judge success rather than what the dealer has sold.

This is how FOX have always done business and why dealers here in the UK are pushing back. We arent in a climate where you can push dealers to continue buying and not acknowledge the close out problems that strangle cash flow. Its a much more accurate metric to get get dealer sell through reports to track the actual progress of the brand rather than taking the numbers at face value.

I have this discussion with brands all the time, just because you make it doesn't mean we can sell it. Sure, we can leverage relationships with dealers, ask them to give it a try and all that but if it doesn't leave the store with a profit then the dealer wont be there long and the brand wont decline, one day it'll just be a over and nobody will know why as the numbers have always been ok.

Ahhhh...yeah Cross Neon sold out QUICK! I've been calling that the lucky charm colorway. Juju won Spring Creek in that and the very next week Ryder D podiumed Washougal while in it. It will be re-stocked in early Fall.

Regarding Fashion LE, if you like that design i think you'll really dig what we have coming out in early September.

I'm really liking the black and teal kinetic fade gear personally, I'm still a big fan of the patrol line, and the kinetic mesh is a godsend out here in the desert. Though I'd love to see more companies stepping up with their off-road gear a bit closer to Klim. I really liked how the Klim gear I had was extremely tough, durable, and had some padding built into the jersey, and options to add more to the pants. Though they aren't really good for someone with big legs and mobius knee braces. It would tack on quite a bit more money in the cost department for off-road gear though.

Despite some of the critiques I have, I really appreciate Fly trying to push forward in helmet tech even though I wear a 6D ATR-3. I'm definitely interested in seeing how their new Blueprint line is reviewed.

Other than too much branding, I like my set from 2018. It's got some extra venting in the knee area, but I like the bright color ways.

Stoked to hear that. Looking forward to September 😎 Great stuff guys. Ryder D and Juju are killing it. Hope to see them get on the box a couple a more times this year.
