Just a question for all.

How many of you still buy the magazines in the stores ( or subscribe ) ? Do you still like to read the hard copies or prefer the digital sites?

Also, who else thinks TransWorld seems like they have completly given up the effort on the publication? ( low content, useless filler, just not a top end mag )

I still subscribe to MXA , and Racerx. My GF got me a subscribtion to Dirt Bike for xmas and I got a dirt cheap offer to subscribe to Transworld so I have 4 mags a month coming in , lol. MXA and Racerx are my favorites. MXA for tests and tech stuff , and Racerx has great stories and columns, plus it is the National Geographic of motocross magazines when it comes to photography in my opinion.

I subscribe to Racer X and Transworld and probably always will. I like them both.

Mags are my guilty pleasure! Lol! I sub to Transworld and MXA. Dirt Bike is lame. I will occasionally buy RacerX in a store but its not my favorite.

I subscribe to RacerX and Transworld. I buy MXA if they have a tech article or and old school article that interests me. I also buy Dirt Rider occasionally (usually if it has a minibike article).

Racer X and MXA. They cover things best and they cover different things from different angles. Love my magazines and refer back to them year after year after year. They are irreplaceable when restoring old junk. I have every issue of Racer X including a couple where they had different covers for the newsstand/ subscribers. You just can't beat MXA for the tests and how to's. Maeda seems like a really good guy but Transworld and their two paragraph race tests absolutely suck. Why even bother?

Hardcopy for me. Digital just doesn't work into the "take a dump" school. :-)

MXA, Transworld, RacerX - RacerX is my favorite. MXA does have unparalleled mechanical information but they get a surprising number of things wrong.

MXA-for racers-I buy all the time
RacerX-for racers, fans, and aficionados of the sport-i buy all the time
Dirt Bike-for racers (esp old racers), off road dudes-still good bike tests-MXA lite-I buy most of the time
Dirt Rider-not sure where it belongs, I like Jimmy-he is hard core, but the rest of the staff...? I buy sometimes
Transworld-for posers-junk-never buy-nothing more than an ass-kissing publication
Moto-the UK mag-expensive, but it is informative and I like to keep up with the scene across the pond, plus works bikes are bitchen.

Currently subscribe to RacerX and TWMX. Have received RX for several years, and just got a good deal on the TWMX sub. Used to get Dirt Rider. Still check others out on the stand sometimes. Will sometimes buy MXA for tech articles if there is something interesting or useful to me. So other than the subscriptions, occasional random purchases from stores.

We just moved, and it made me realize how many magazines I actually do have sitting around. Shocked
