5 Minutes after posting this, i was walking down the office and a girl who comes to our site 2 days a week, who i have nothing to do with normally , other than being sociable in the works kitchen occasionally, says ' oh , can i ask you something' . Me thinking it was work related , said ' yeah , what do you need'... she replied ' what do you think about Ken De Dycker doing Lommel'?

Turns out that she is the Ex GF of a work colleague of my son, and she actually came to Lommel im 2017 and was with us for 2 days. I knew i had seen her before , but could never figure out where... Yesterday she realised who i was and confirmed it with the Ex, and he gave her the question.... bloody hilarious.
De Dycker is the real deal. Even in 2026.

I had something similar happen to me a few years back. I was having my hair cut and the hairdresser asked what I was up to at the weekend, I said I was going out on my dirt bike. Turns out her brother was Austin Kemp, a name you probably remember & I would wager you probably haven’t heard in a while. Small world.

If Triumph would keep McLellan in 250 Mikula would be a very good option as a nr 2 rider to groom. I personally would not take Mikula right now as my nr. 1 rider if i'm running a factory team.
Is Renaux available? It be interesting to see what he can do on a bike that isnt a Yamaha.
