Over the air broadcasters use the airwaves by license from the FCC. Government controls the airwaves, not what the media says.
Over-the-air broadcasters are legally required to operate in the "public interest, convenience, and necessity" in exchange for their free licenses to use the public airwaves. I'd hazard a guess that a presidential address would qualify as "public interest"

There are certain things that are regulated on by them. How many radio stations played Trump speech, how many tv stations? Plus every president has speech not played.

When the DNC basically owns all three major public broadcast stations, and they get to decide what is "public interest", how is the "public" ever going to get data by which they can make decisions? I honestly cannot understand why so many, seemingly intelligent, people dont see the point I am obviously failing to make. Whether a POTUS is lying or not, people should have access to hear an official address on the public stations. And if that cannot ever happen, there needs to be one frequency that broadcasts this type of stuff that is not censored and citizens can see 100% of what was said by the POTUS. Regardless what side of the aisle he/she is on.
The DNC doesn’t own any of those channels. But what you’re describing is when it is right wing propaganda then you want government control against a free market. The right wants only certain people to have rights and others to be controlled.
